this part applies to a lot of stuff in life. Car, house, phone you name it.

Once saw a thread asking advice on RM1500 phone with good camera, and the response was like "top up abit get iphone xs max".

Cos its 1k, thats all. If it is being priced at retail, i doubt there will be anyone going for it.

Haha yeap, at 2.8k i'd still go for thinkpad, but have to give thinkbook some credit, its actually a good laptop. I use it more than my T495 cause it instantly starts and battery can last long.

RM1013-RM58.87(from shopback) for an i5 laptop with 3 years pro warranty, a cheapo mouse, a cheapo bag and 10,000 Bigpoints (yet gotten mine though, just checked and it’s in my account already, I gotten more Bigpoints from this offer than buying flight tickets with my hard cold cash for the past 5 years, KEK), is that sufficient as the reasons/arguments for you? laugh.gif

If not for the RM1k price, the device alone is still quite an interesting piece of ultrabook (nice form factor, nice finishes, decent screen and keyboards) which many other devices in the same price (retail) segment can’t offer.

But again, the max I would pay for it is probably RM2k-2.2k, as it don’t have a discrete GPU and don’t have native USB-PD charging.

Charging port repair is considered as "accidental damage" and is not covered under the standard warranty.

Charging port "misuse" not covered by limited warranty?
