i use Deep Cycle Lead Acid Battery for the moment,
the battery price is not matured yet, 48V 200Ah battery cost around 10K hahaha
so lead acid is cheapest way to start until maturity

When rempit discovered the instantaneous torque of an electric motor and fit it onto their bike, your solar panels will be targeted by them.

hahaha, 280W panel is big, 1.65M X 0.95M
To climb and steal also difficult
I myself fell down when installing the panel due to the weight of the panel (and lifting it all alone some more) haha

Agree.
I used to work in Toshiba many years back.
My technician worked night shift and there was a malay female operator who wasn't feeling well.
He as an emergency health response team member so he fetched her back home in Kg Sijangkang after midnight in the company van.
He was stopped and almost got beaten up because he is with a girl from the kampung in the van late at night.
Hahahhaa............. better don't mess around in this kampung.

good guestion, there's a spacing indeed if u lay flat the panels, but i did differently, i put on top of each other to create overlapping surface (but not overlapping the cells) just overlap at the Aluminium Frame side (approx 3/4 inch) and then seal with silicon glue

there's better way actually using gutter metal, but no, i choose to be cheapskate

8000-12000 houses in this kampung alone have no permit building a house
If they try to demolish 1, they need to also demolish all 8000-12000 houses here, means losing the votes in next election
Imagine doing the same in all villages in Selangor, Change of gov is certain

So i can conclude, gray zone

Double check the connections and do visual inspection every 6 months. Arcs can cause fire easily.

realistically what's the solar panel price for a terrace house? and how long do you estimate for the ROI? There's another thread on solar panel and stuff, but from my little reading/understanding, seems like not worth the money VS the ROI in saving. What do you think?
