Hello. I did a search on the forum and found that a 50" set can fit inside the Myvi with the back seat folded down...

Now the question is, can a 55" fit inside the myvi? How about a sedan - specifically, the Peugeot 408.

Or would I need to rely on delivery?

Thanks guys!

Can fit or not depend on model and packaging...

If remove packaging likely can but scared damage and scratch...

Well it's gotta be in the packaging...wouldn't wanna risk it sweat.gif

The reason I want to self collect is the delivery is done by GDex...and a lot of horror stories to be frank. Hence would prefer to self-collect.

However, it seems like 50" is the limit for the myvi.

I'm hoping someone can chime in and say otherwise.

It's a Sony kd55x7000g. Lemme pull the box dimensions and post here in a bit

edit: here's the dimension. Guess I'm gonna cross-ref that with the myvi internal dimension

DIMENSION OF PACKAGE CARTON (W X H X D) - Approx. 1399 x 836 x 162 mm

can fit into myvi...i've bought 55" previously and bring back home using myvi...back seat fold down and move the front seat a little more forward...best is going alone with no passenger in front

On a more serious note, on paper, the myvi won't be able to fit it would seem. Shy of 50mm or so.

I'm leaving this up in case someone else wants to contribute with meaningful feedback.

Gonna do some more research to see if it can fit in the pug.

Oh wow. You defied the physics on paper! laugh.gif

Mind sharing which TV so I can get the box dimension? Also...which year of Myvi is this? Coz I notice a difference in dimensions depending on the model.

AFAIK, if it's not obstructing the view of the driver, remains fully in the confines of the car, it's perfectly legal...no? Also, it's for personal use. I've never given legality much thought though. Another thing to look up I suppose.

Nice. Considering it's a C-segment, it should be equal I hope. Headache trying to find the dimensions for the pug online sweat.gif Thanks for the info!

Well, wouldn't want to risk driving there to find out that it can't fit right? Better to make sure it actually fits...if not I have to drive back with another car laugh.gif

Er...if it's out of the car width then confirm cannot dy.

Anyways, just an update to you guys here. The shop confirmed that myvi can fit a 55". Confirmed by other fellow members here that have fit it in their car, I'm gonna gamble it.

Side note: was informed that sedan aren't recommended for 50" above. The shop actually recommends and SUV or Myvi. Glad I held on to this car laugh.gif

Will update later once I've collected the TV, whether it fits.

Thanks again to everyone contributing!
