Seriously YT Premium is worth it.
Got access to YT Originals.
Quite good so far.
And for YT Music, there are songs that is directly from an album like Spotify.

I know they is illegal way, I just prefer legal and support.
It is not very expensive. Only RM 17.90 and you get following.

- YouTube no advertisements (I freaking hate advertisement appear)
- YouTube Original (show/documentary/movie)
- YouTube Music (256Kbps AAC sound quality is fine for me)

And because of this, I just cancel my Apple Music which cost RM 14.99 for music only.

Just I need start from scratch my song listing which very well done in Apple Music many years ago.

Why not install pihole on Google cloud, so you can get pihole anywhere? Can charge users 1 ringgit per month some more lul

tested youtube music via firefox, i am going to say it is not bad, music library is good.
better experience for me compared to spotify (browser version-free), whidh for some reason i heard unpleasant noise at the start of the song, probably drm stuff kicks in?

hopefully that youtube could start producing high budget originals

Need to listen for longer but based on the few hours I tested, the audio quality of YM Premium at highest setting doesn't seem to match Spotify Premium and Apple Music.

Some songs sounded downright terrible when set to audio but then sounded nicer when I turned to video. Strange.

You should knw right that according to term and condition only people that living in the same roof can use family plan and they have rights to ban ppl that trying to share it with non family?

Spotify and Netflix in the past ban thousands account after they noticed their family plan members actually living hundred of kilometres apart based on their IP and our country actually flagged as one of the biggest offender?

hi, just want to enquire if any of you who are sharing a youtube family plan are encountering any problems coz there's a tnc on electronic check-ins every 30 days.

"To be eligible to share a YouTube family membership, all family members must live at the same residential address as the family manager. This requirement will be confirmed by electronic check-ins every 30 days."

Need to use Argentina VPN to accept invite (because YouTube Premium price in Argentina is much cheaper), after accepting the invite can just use YouTube or YouTube Music like you normally do with or without a VPN, will provide Argentina address but you will need to find your own VPN

Hi, been checking about this family plan sharing thing, did google do any checks on the location of the family members so far? is it still working fine?

Just a friendly reminder, Youtube will do regular checkups on the member's IP address to make sure they tally up with owner's location (based on geo IP).

They will send you an email for verification if they have suspicion on you and will not hesitate to suspend your premium plan. My mum kena without her knowing since elders dont really check their emails. Fortunately, I'd managed to restore it.

So it can be solved. Thank you very much. Worst case scenario, I just return the unutilized amount and terminate it. For example, let say after 6 months they terminate, I return rm35 to each participant and terminate it. But it seems that very few have this problem. Whatever it is, thank you very much for informing and sharing.

Dont worry, just return the (part/unutilized) money. It is actually not that much. We wont be rich or poor with that amount of money. For me rm70 per year for youtube premium is worth it. Saving our time listening to unnecessary advertisement. We can also listen to music while surfing the website or facebook. After all life is short. Why waste our precious time. But this is my personal opinion.👍😁

I thought the plan can fit 6 ppl in total?

1 mth of family plan = RM 27. Divide by 6 = RM4.5 per pax per month.

1 year should be RM54 no? How come go until RM72 har?

I get charged RM28.55 per month for the family plan. That’s inclusive of tax, I guess.

Comes to around RM57.10 per year per family user account. Extra is commission, I guess smile.gif

This one I know already how they can detect of all from same household.

Basically they will get it from the Android phone when we select the location ON.

I know because my father's phone not location ON. Get email from Google recommend to ON it. But my father stay not same house, but lucky the email I can retrieve and use my phone as the tracker.

Anyway I don't think same household is an issue as one my kid who is under my YouTube family is staying far away. Still no issues.

You can use your main google account safely even it joins a family, no one else in the family can see your Google account or change the playlist algorithms, etc, your own Google account is still uniquely yours despite what other family members listening on YouTube

As Sharpman says, the family head will not be able to see anything except your gmail address. And to answer your question, nope, premium is only tied to whatever Google account you are added as a member.

I don't encourage going against terms of use i e. strangers who are not even living under same roof address.

However, as far as the Youtube "family" is concerned, this is just licencing a group in one fell swoop, which grant the same Premium benefits to each and every member, and that is all.

Gonna be charged 699 ARS (RM21.53) starting next month. Going to try subscribing to India at 189 Indian Rupee (RM10.85), hopefully it works.

And Yes, can stream same time.

It is not like Netflix, need to pay more inorder to have more people to stream. YouTube Premium all the family members can stream.

So far my family group

I'm the only one who does this simultaneous steaming
My TVBox, PS5, and Android phone can stream all at once using same username. Your history, fav, subscription will follow the username. I really dunno what is the Max same time streaming for a user, never tired it.
