Just a suggestion. Try to include the link to V2 & V3 (if possible V1 also wink.gif ) in the main post...

hey, i think my speaker got problem already. right side completely no sound and got cracking sound at left..

where can i take to repair? repair need how long? sad.gif
*
U can take it for repair to the place of warranty. I feel that better bring to Nokia Centre - peace of mind but expensive.

If u bring for repair to the warranty place, then it may even take weeks or months (assuming it's AP). If you pay money & do it, then can be done in 2 days MAX. Some will even do it within hours wink.gif

Got update on my phone today, the problem is due to the main board failure. The shop said is a AP set and said can't claim warranty on it, izzit true? Any advised, thank
You must refer to your warranty card - T&C

this is the problem with AP set. They will "give" 1 year warranty but when got major problem, they are not willing to take responsibility.

The phone is only 5 month old, hope they will replace the main board.
Have you checked the T&C behind the warranty card?

EURO1 firmwares have bene known not to have the flash bug. when you turn the flash off, it doesn't even light up. smile.gif
so far, all APAC1 firmwares have the "flash bug", or so we shall now call it. smile.gif

APAC1 and EURO1 are just some of the nicknames given to firmwares of different region's.
*
But the problem with EURO firmware is with their font. I feel that APAC font are nicer compared to EURO. Just my personal opinion smile.gif

Does both of this firmware support chinese character?
What font? Every font and text displaying in the phone?
*
EURO firmware does not support Chinese character.

Yes, I think almost every font. I've seen the network operator name different (font) & when you dial something, the font is also different. Menu fond seems to be same.

So, I assume APAC is from Asian Country?
Soon or later, APAC firmware will fix the flash bugs right?

Oh, ok.. Meaning not tat really nice looking?
*
Yes, APAC is Asia Pacific.

As for me, I don't like the EURO font. Prefer the APAC font smile.gif

Just got a N73 for my dad. Fiddled a little with it, nice phone i gotta say, but camera wise my K800 still pwns tongue.gif (sorry). Only one question so far which i cant seems to solve. How to remove the active calender from the standby screen? And change those icons on top of there? Thx smile.gif
*
Huhu, even review says that N73's photo is a bit better quality compared to K800i. The only advantage of K800i is the Xenon flash..

i guess the review is trying to say N73 is able to capture better quality pic compared to K800
but the probability is low for that event to occur..unless you have good skill
because K800 can capture a quite nice pic without any good skill(thanks to its stabilizer)
*
QUOTE(edkiasu @ Jul 28 2007, 12:12 AM)
Second that. Besides, do consider the night shot by k800i, and its shutter time, its amazingly fast for mobile phone. What to say? Cyber-Shot ma~  tongue.gif

only in daylight shots.. tongue.gif
*
Wah, nobody support N73 sweat.gif
Anyway, that's what I got from review. It says that K800i is just about the same with N73 (each have their own pros & cons) but N73's video is much better compared to K800i

I like the vivid mode in N73. Photos are really colourful & nice. thumbup.gif

N80 is a BIG NO NO!!
- a lot of them having problem with N80.

have little question here ... how go download malaysia maps with smart2go
*
U must install the map software in your phone 1st.
Then open the map app in your phone at least once

Then download maploader & install it into your pc.
Connect your phone in 'mass storage' mode

open maploader in your pc & choose whatever map you want. In your case, Asia > Malaysia

then download. - Internet must be on

keep getting error " No storage medium detected " even i connect via pc suite / mass storage
*
Got memory card inside your phone or not tongue.gif

select mass storage mode. Then see whether it's appearing on my computer or not. Then only open the maploader.

If still doesn't work, use a card reader

BUT REMEMBER - you must open the software at least once in your phone & then exit before using map loader (pc)
