Yes, I install outdoor since the signal is very poor in my urban area. Initially test with 7E antenna at indoor ground floor/porch direct plug into TV with the RG6 cable that comes with the new antenna. Totally no signal indoor. Porch has some signal if turn here and there, sometimes lost. Move to roof, intermittent signal lost few minutes every hour. Check in the new TV with built in digital tuner, signal not good.

So you get the 14e, but I got the 27E (150km) at that time. Same performance indoor ground floor or porch as the 7E. So I climb up the roof again, plug the RG6 cable that comes with it to join to the original house cable 3C-2V and route to ground floor through internal wall estimate 15m with original developer splicing (don't know where) into 1st floor master bedroom. Ground floor it is routed out to porch, then up to ceiling board and to the other side of the wall, down and indoor again, about additional 16-18 metres 3C-2V. Cause the TV is at the other end of the living room where the wall-antenna-from-developer.

Result ? Rarely signal lost. Can receive >90% signal with 60% strength probably due to the old 3C-2V cables and super long length >30m and also weak signal at my urban area.

My original booster that runs on power for the old analog antenna, will distort the digital signal. So I pull it out already. So, don't waste money on booster. Get a stronger antenna if your area has weak signal, e.g. 37E

Meanwhile, the 7E antenna, move to another house in another nearby urban area, install indoor just beside window, signal 100% no problem

My direct tower distance is <15km , but due to a hill (or two) in between, I'm using 27E Antenna with the extension (up to 150km ) and even then sometimes will loss digital signal completely.
Already put external outdoor high up the roof, but the hill is even higher by >100m so there is no line of sight

Previously using 14E or equivalent with broken elements still can receive analog signals.

I suggest invest in a super-strong antenna 27E or 34E or higher
