I thought someone made a typo error when he mentioned GP in the BP forum. Then another person said GoPay so I decided to check it out in Lowyat, and wow today it's already 40 pages of discussion. The 1.5K daily limit and monthly limit 4K for local bank transfer is better limit than BP and only RM500 less than Boost. So yes it's another alternative. The union card will be handy for my future China trips. I was once stuck at the Guangzhou airport for having no Renminbi to buy excess baggage. They wouldn't take credit card, I had no Alipay and I didn't open my ATM card for overseas withdrawal. The Union card should be good to have.

QUOTE(LemonJane @ Dec 21 2019, 11:01 AM) Yes do keep us posted. Meanwhile I will apply to open an account I have opened an account and approved for upgrade to Premium Wallet, topped up via BP. Failed bank transfer after 3 attempts of RM1,400, RM1,000 and RM800 so finally I called customer service. While waiting I realised it's a joint bank account that I requested for transfer to, so asked CS if there's a restriction on joint account. He's not sure either and just asked me to try transfer to an account in my own name. And yes, RM1,400 went through now let's see when the money will be in. The guy did ask me how much was the amount of transfer I tried do and he said the amounts were all within limit. So yes confirmed that the daily limit is RM1,500. QUOTE(cucikaki @ Dec 23 2019, 12:09 AM) 22/12 transfer 1.5k, try another 1.5k, unsuccessful 2x 23/12 transfer 1.5k, successful So yeah i think they change it to 1.5k per day limit. 22/12 was a Sunday and for sure you would not have received money in your bank today 23/12, but yet you could do another transfer today! So it looks like we can do 30x1500 monthly!

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Dec 23 2019, 11:00 AM) But later need to entertain their love calls. Do everything in moderation. From my planning (including SCB game, i would utilised GoPayz 7/30) this month so far 5/30. Yes I agree. Do in moderation, we don't want to trigger new restrictions.

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Dec 23 2019, 12:04 PM) I guess reload 10k to each BP then tranfer 2k daily to main BP then withdraw 1.5k daily from GP "Reload to each BP"? I thought we can only have one BP card? What is "main BP"? You mean to reload 10K each time to your BP account then do multiple daily transfers. Once done, reload another 10K and transfer out again.

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Dec 23 2019, 12:46 PM) u can sign up BP using ur fam member IC that definitely wouldnt use BP, mother, father, grandparents, sister/brothers that just turned 18, elder siblings that is not tech savvy. but linked to only one phone each, if u have huawei phone, then u can do the dual apps setting (each fingerprint is differen account) but again, as people advise, refrain topping up BP using other people CC, but do it at ur own risk. some people get suspended, but after explain, then the account reactiavted again. - refer to BP thread I see. Thanks for theinformation

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Dec 23 2019, 12:50 PM) xiaomi dual apps no need 2 different fingerprint, the fingerprint just to activate the security, Boost or any other apps doesn't store ur fingerprint in their system, it's just up to phone only All you smart people. I'm not that tech savvy so I'll pass for operating 2 accounts. I got confused even when reloading, whether it's from BP to GP or the other way round. Oh well, I will just juggle among Boost, BP and GP, IN MODERATION This post has been edited by LemonJane: Dec 23 2019, 01:05 PM

I did a bank transfer of RM1,200+ this morning for my credit card account at OCBC and I filled in "card payment" under Other Details. Transaction went through no problem so I just need to check tomorrow for the credit to my card account. To me GoPayz works just like balance transfer

Haven't checked in here for a few days. Wow so much argument, relax people! Just curious, why doesn't Gopayz allow top up by credit card? All other e-wallets allow that. If Gopayz changes this rule they would be able to attract more sign-ups. Looks like only BigPay card holders like us are enjoying Gopayz right now

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jan 6 2020, 08:12 PM) they are very well aware of potential abuse.... https://ringgitplus.com/en/blog/e-wallet/U-...-It-Can-Do.html"...Unlike most e-wallets, GoPayz can only be topped up via online banking (FPX) and debit cards – you cannot use a credit card to top up GoPayz. This is due to the existence of the physical prepaid card that can potentially be abused by some users, according to Albert Loo, head of digital financial services at U Mobile...."
Oh ok. Hopefully Mr Loo will re-think this. They can do it like Boost, set a limit on credit card top up.

QUOTE(Leroi2x @ Jan 6 2020, 08:16 PM) Walao ,u late then mine also received already… Maybe bcoz i cre8 my account 1/dec but apply card 25/dec ,too late apply card ?… Nvm …at least i redeemed 2 tealive and 2 mbo… No I don't think that's the problem. I signed up on 20/12 and applied for the Union Pay card on 27/12. I saw the virtual cards in my account and thought the cards would be issued automatically. Finally I called customer service and I was told cash back would be given for card application before 31/12. I don't know if they extend it for a further period.

QUOTE(skty @ Jan 6 2020, 08:19 PM) nope, not really those who use BP only enjoying GoPayz. I enjoy it much without using BP with it. My BP got other way. The world is so big. Don't limit yourself and waste such a fantastic e-wallet quota with BP. But GoPayz before they launch the product, already mention they won't accept credit card due to potential abuse. Sounds to me you have been able to out-smart Gopayz ! This post has been edited by LemonJane: Jan 6 2020, 08:45 PM
