QUOTE(expertester @ Nov 18 2007, 11:14 PM) What i actually mean is, there must be a specific term of agreement in this refund policy. yes... they are willing to refund. The 100% refund policy is to protect themself from being abuse of the money back gurantee.Yes we all know that those 75% refund within 3 month of usage..etc etc...but, is that it? Are they willing to refund, even the connection is OK? Or they have specific condition that must be met before they refund us. For example, 100% refund policy...several condition must be met. Blind spot area or almost blind spot area + within 3 days + downoad not more than 3 MB. (<-- if i am not mistaken) regarding the blind spot area, those that download not more than 3MB can get 100% refund(No need to pay RM180) within the 7 days. If more than 3MB, the RM180 charges applies. Why are they giving this is because they want customer's satisfaction. and they are looking forward to cover the whole of malaysia by 2010. |

every service provider would face problems. Its about how long they would take to solve it.
ask yourself this... do you still face problem with streamyx? How long have they been in the market? How long celcom is in the market? 19 years How long Maxis is in the market? 15 years. How long is iZZi in the market? months... thats why they are giving this money back gurantee policy. Look at the growth of the tower station monthly... you will see that they are willing to invest into problematic situation that accurs to customer. but they too need customers feedback to be better. So, send in all your feed back... I gain more confidence after the GM gave the speech... he even invited his engineers to the speech for question that is out of his hand. |

well... edwinlim is the customer care consultant in izzi... it should be dealt with accordingly... i cannot just cut the q. but problems such as this had already been brought up in the management. The engineers are looking into it already.
The other problem about 100% signal but cannot get good connection had also been brought up too... so, it will be pretty soon the problem will be solved. |

Lol... its good to know that you are still alive...hehehehehe....
as for customer satisfaction, i am not too sure if its 30% as to what i know, there are still many users satisfied with the connection as their coverage is not shared by many users yet... but i believe that by the time their coverage is being shared by many, towers would be up already... |

whoa... look who's talking now.... dude.... do you know how many broadband user there is in malaysia base on 2006 report? there is only about 900k people using... and out of the 900k, 15k are wireless users.
and yes... you are right about m'sian isp.... they would think of how to fatten their own pockets... but dude... look at izzi... they had used 25 million on the setup and 10million is with the security(Gov)... and look at the rapid growth of towers being built. and for your information.... izzi knows that there are more users in KL city center thus they had built 6 towers around that area to support the bandwidth there... i do not mean to step on your tail but i just wanted to pin point out izzi's sincererity here... you might also want to read recent news paper about government taking back a few WiMax operators. QUOTE(edwinlim @ Nov 23 2007, 05:48 AM) If the izzi wan fatten the pocket, they will not build up more base station. aijojo.... read carefully on my post la... what i am saying is that most ISP tried to fatten their pockets la. not izzi la... and yes... you are right... next year will cover 100% Klang Valley. From my opinion,to cover whole klang valley,at least next year will finish up 100% of klang valley. |

QUOTE(wr6969 @ Nov 23 2007, 11:47 AM) Source of report please. Let's say this is true. Let's say Maxis, Celcom, DiGi and Izzi all have 25% market share. This translates to around 3,750 users for Izzi. If they can't even handle this small number of users efficiently, what hope is there when more and more users sign up? Notice most of the users here are complaining about slow connections. Frankly if you ask me, getting 50-60% of advertised bandwidth doesn't cut it, it's a con job. Doesn't Streamyx offer better, at least 70%? And yet people still complain. I wonder why so many people here are happy with 50% of their purchased 1mbps speed. I, as a customer, doesn't give a rat's ass how much they spent on the service. It's not an excuse for poor service. Imagine if I already spent RM1 million setting up a restaurant. I have no money left to hire a good chef. The food sucks. I tell my customers - hey, I already spent to much money to set up the restaurant, I have no money to spend on a good chef. But my restaurant in nice, no? Spending money on towers to increase coverage is one thing. More importantly, spending money to improve bandwidth is more important. Unless all of us here want to go down Streamyx's path? I think not. Personally, I don't want to even think about it...it's too scary a thought - simply selling the service but not expanding capacity to cater for increased demand. You are beginning to sound more and more like an internal Izzi employee, with access to such confidential company information. Or is this simply speculation and hearsay? Do you believe everything that Izzi's marketing folks tell you? Damn, don't we wish all customers were as gullible as you? How do you know they're sincere? You're trying very hard to sell their service here, you yourself are a distributor or reseller or whatever they call you clowns nowadays. What has the government taking back the 2.5 and 3.5Ghz spectra got anything to do with Izzi's business and its level of service? I think you should just focus on the arguments at hand, rather than clouding the issue with your, and Izzi's branding of FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt)... The way you are talking seems like a clown to me. The report is base on 2005 to 2006. Izzi came out in 2007. Regarding how izzi uses its money, you don't have to worry about that. or lets put it this way. Should izzi allocate 25 million to your area so that you can use the broadband all to yourself/area users? Stop thinking in your own circle. I know that you might not be satisfied with the service currently but hey... complain more... let izzi know your problem. If izzi had no problem at all, there would be no space for them to grow. Just like yourself for instance, If you cannot accept comments ppl given to you, then you will just stay as you are and never learn lessons as you think that you are always right. The recent news about the gov taking back the service has nothing to do with izzi but its just information about other isp. and we aren't even arguing. i am just letting you guys to have more faith in izzi as they're still very new. If you took notice on their progress, you can see their sincerity on expanding. And why would i want to try so hard to sell the service here? there are more potential customer outside compare to lowyat.net only. Maybe i had given out too much information to you guys already... I think i will stop posting on the progress since you guys doesn't seem to be interested on izzi's expansion. and if you have questions, perhaps edwin could answer you. lol!!! it seems when the flaming stops, almost all discussion stops. As for KJ, I believe that there are far toooo many p2p users at that area thus everyone starts to complain. but if i stand at the company's point of view, we can't do much about it as there are fundings that need to be done to at least cover up the whole klang valley. it already behind schedule for 2 months now to cover klang valley. Why? cuz they have to deal with lots of p2p users.
The good thing about izzi would be, if there are too many users in your area, why not bring your lappy out and enjoy a drink while downloading it somewhere else where the speed is better.... instead of using it 24hrs a day at home with sucky connection. I know... i know... i promised not to speak anymore... but i just want to bump this thread... lol |

QUOTE(wr6969 @ Feb 16 2008, 08:34 PM) I cancelled my service in mid January. I was promised three weeks for the refund by the Izzi employee who attended to me. It's now mid February. I am wondering whether I can get my refund before I reach retirement age well... i believe that its still not 30 days yet... heheheheh... and its CNY you know... things my get a little carried away sometimes... i believe it would be by end of the month. It looks like this company does not only suck in their service, they also do not keep their promises. Enough said about them for now. |
