Jz now my salesperson called me and told me that the Sri Petaling base station is up and asked me to check the speed.

After i followed what he told me, i found no different. Then, he told me that the base station is jz up and they need to do some configuration and like what edwin lim said, they are planning to increase the bandwidth and they are working on it currently.

We shall wait and see after 2 weeks later..

actualy, use the example of the car to equate with izzinet promotion of tht rm66 is rather inappropriate....the promotion cut off was 1/3 difference.

moreover, the cut back is not tht severe when promotion is given by cars' promotion eg. 2k of 40k.....even there was one, and in fact, there was actually once.....the iswara.....by the govt, actually the ppl really feel deeply lousy about tht sort of cut throat promotion which significantly degrade the second hand values of car almost instantly.....thts why many ppl really mock the govt management

hence izzinet should not practice the same method....regardless wat example to justify its means, but in the end, customers will ultimately feel cheated....

actually, don need sympathy ler...not helpin in anyway...u r just doin ur job. theres nthg u can do anyway ,if u did, it wud mean goin up agst ur boss....eg devamany of bn regarding the hindraf thing....he knew it but its very little he can do

Noooo, Streamyx also has their never ending problem. Frequent DC, slow international website access speed, high latency for certain IP for online gaming (proxy huh), torrent shaping, hate to be bonded 2 years contract summore, also need to pay RM26 per month for fix line rent which i never use, and dont want to use.

my hometown which use streamyx....haiyooo....the headache come like sine wave. Sometime its good...really awesome. 1.5 mbps for RM88 and direct download speed constantly 150 kBps. (but still, for online gaming, need to try and error for good IP). Then, the bad luck wave came....dc so frequent. Online gaming become really BAD experience. Even chatting. The only part which ok was internet browsing (duh).

Even I use xunlei or deluge to combat traffic shaping for torrent, (yup, it work, averagely 80 kBps for streamyx line), but frequent DC (4 - 5 times in 1 hour), really kill the speed. Some more, when quite heavy raining day, for sure, the DSL LED will blinking all the way...with 0 connection. Scenario...bila hujan.....leave computer and tido (sbb astro pun KO) 

So, changing to Streamyx is an available option but having that kind of experience with streamyx make think twice. Different ISP different Headache.

ps : I rather prefer 33% stable internet speed rather than 120% speed but Disconnect 5 times per hour. But, its only me.

but they told me , they will FREE upgrade 1Mbps to 2Mbps for us (current customers) around june to august.
