If you want to use it as your main PC monitor, definitely 24" monitor is much better than most LCD TV, especially in displaying text as their pixel pitch is much smaller. If you are planning to get Dell 2408WFP, if you can, wait a while more for Revision A01.http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/news_archive/12.htm#dell_a01
I'm going to check out some LCD TV today, will try to compare different resolution of input source if possible.
