last friday went to a sony center warehouse sale at amcorp mall.

bought a new set of 5.1 speakers (model DAV-FX900KW) and placed the previous Pioneer into a box

also bought that bluetooth module at the warehouse sale..(upper right)
RM310 reduced to RM30-quick quick grab
now wanna listen to songs on the 5.1,just stream via bluetooth from the laptop or handphone


this glowing blue object to the left is the IR transmitter..i used to put it behind the room,but it was blocked by some flowers
so now just put it directly opposite the L surround speaker (why it is glowing blue in this picture,is beyond me...the actual thing is red.. )

subscribe to the sony newsletter..i got the info from there(a few days before they published the advert in the newspapers)

didnt know you were looking for a new set thought you busy getting your internet up and running

the sound it produces is a hell of a lot different than my previous Pioneer
the AK102 in MGO now makes a BOOMBOOM sound instead of a TUTTUT

sounds more

makes me use it even more

not sure if it's because it's an old(read:display) set or what,but sometimes the signal drops so occasionally got no audio and sometimes it works flawlessly

the HT is wireless (surround speakers) but the front+center speakers are still wired.
problem with wireless speakers,is that it requires an extra powerpoint.

thanks to the bluetooth receiver,i can watch movies,play music,hell play games on the laptop/handphone and stream the audio to the HT via bluetooth

find other time to play la..

my whole set is in the living room,and so have to share time with others

your center speaker on top of the sub woofer doesnt shake/fall off when there's heavy action on screen?

even if it doesnt,it produces less clutter on the desk/behind the tv.
keeps the neat freaks happy

makes for a much tidier setup

i've never used it before,so cant imagine having 3 separate cables for video(component) and another 2/1-optical- cables for audio

now just 2 cables-one for video,one for optical

if you have an amplifier,even better...just one cable coming out from ps3

i had an identical mini hifi before
speakers abit different(all covered) but the player is very similiar

bought it for 2k along with a wega(2k for the whole set )
