Same concept as UT for local equity market.
They retain up to 10% sometimes 20% of cash in MYR.

luckily aggressive portfolio is just 2.5%, how about your very aggressive portfolio?

Another one, if we looked at detailed breakdown of our portfolio performance, does “cash bonuses” included in the “total earnings” and minus “wahed fees” to make up the total of “I have earned”?

definitely no, cash bonus is not counted as what you've earned

thats the funny part, i wonder why they allocate 2.5% in cash...and seems like they are holding MYR instead of USD or other currency, thats why there is no gain/loss.
U holding in MYR, so 1 MYR is always 1 MYR, no gain no loss. The cash portion seems like for saving only  dry.gif

I believe the qty of units and cost basis price remain constant unless we make additional deposit, but then how come regardless of whatever the market price (on daily basis) the cash allocation remain constant at 2.50% with no gain or loss???? To me, cash amount simply constitutes 2.50% of the total investment value net off total unrealised gain/loss of other asset class... damn I’m confused 🤷‍♂️

Can anyone shed some light please 🙏🙏

Pretty unpredictable right? I don’t see the correlation... I think the easiest way is just to DCA at regular intervals regardless of the market price... and we don’t have to bother how it actually works 🙈🙈🙈

I have been trying to find the connection between the ETF and US market.
Apparently there's no clear indication.
I give up! bye.gif

i guess the cash in there is just to protect wahed in rare cases that the fund go bankrupt. instead of wahed absorbing the loss they will use the cash portion instead. my guess.

He's finding the correlation among the assets.
I'm finding the correlation the ETF and US market.
Maybe it's not important for some people but I felt it is important to understand what are you investing into.

Because a lot of them just invest without reading and knowing more about what they invested?

Malaysia Stocks portion is invested into this https://www.myetf.com.my/en/MyETF-Series/MyETF-MMID/ pretty much flat since i started 2.5 months ago. Seems like a waste better just put it into Sukuk (RHB) or change to a different ETF.
