Which should I go for? Corsair CX Series 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze or
Cooler Master MWE 750W Gold Full Modular? Mastercooler is abit expensive (RM589) than the Corsair (RM529) but what's the difference beside the gold and bronze and which last longer ?

First, do you need 750W? Unless you are running a HEDT setup (or intend to overclock both the GPU and CPU heavily) there's very little reason to get a 750W icon_idea.gif

Just like both Kristal.S said, neither of these PSUs are decent. The CX is a budget (in other countries that is) line of the Corsair PSU range, so I'd avoid that one icon_idea.gif

The MWE Gold is not exactly a decent PSU for the money either - you can get a much better unit for the price icon_idea.gif

You should go for the Leadex III Gold instead - it's cheaper than both PSUs you mentioned, but it has much superior build quality and performance (also note that Super Flower is one of the best PSU OEMs around) icon_idea.gif

You can buy one from Lazada:

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/super-fl...554bozvBPk&mp=1

If there's any issue just send it back to the seller, i.e. lingloong icon_idea.gif

Also, what's your hardware specs? A 750W unit is way overkill for pretty much all mainstream single GPU setups icon_idea.gif

You don't need 750W if just a standard single GPU system with RTX 2070 Super.

650W is just nice, unless you have a setup like 9 RGB fans + RGB watercooling. Get Super Flower or EVGA Supernova series, they are the best in the market.

Corsair CX series has cheap components inside, although it is modular but just stay away from them.

Do you really need a 3600X? hmm.gif

Also a 24GB RAM setup is pretty bad for a Ryzen since it will not have dual channel support, which will limit the CPU's performance icon_idea.gif
Stick to a 16GB kit or a 32GB kit instead icon_idea.gif

Your setup will barely reach 550W - I'm running a 5700 XT with a 3600 on a 550W Seasonic unit and it has been running fine so far icon_idea.gif

Consider getting a Super Flower Leadex III Gold 650W for RM449 instead icon_idea.gif

Thanks for the advice! Will decide to take Super FlowerLeadex III but will it be overkill to have 850watts? Needed for future upgrade.

Still overkill IMHO - unless you want to venture into HEDT platforms such as Threadripper or Intel's Core X CPUs there's not much reason to invest into high wattage PSUs icon_idea.gif

A decent 650W unit is more than enough for a mainstream CPU + single high end GPU icon_idea.gif

This is the total power consumption of a 5700XT + an overclocked 8700K to 4.8GHz:

...and it only peaks at 305W icon_idea.gif

Also, one more thing is that the fact that power consumption of PC hardware will continuously go down, due to advancements in semiconductor manufacturing that allows improvements in power efficiency icon_idea.gif

Your pricing very expensive. On Lazada even Corsair RM750 is less than rm500.

I would suggest to consider the Corsair RM750 or RM650 which are both below RM500 as suggested by @krayden@. Take note that they carry 10 years warranty. Another PSU with 10 year warranty is Cooler Master V650 or V750. When it comes to warranty claim for PSU in Malaysia, I think the possibility of getting the warranty honoured is higher with Corsair & Cooler Master. Some like Seasonic don't even have a distributor in Malaysia anymore and left their previous buyers in a lurch (not sure if things have changed now, but buyer beware).

just to add, we all know you will never go wrong with corsair PSU.
but recently Cooler master said the new gold psu lineup is using japanese capacitors and parts.

Buying PSU just by brand alone is not recommended

Like Corsair's VS series is crap, why you think only 3-years warranty not the usual 10 you see from TXm/RMx/HX/AX? whistling.gif

Every brand (CM, EVGA, etc.) all have good and bad PSU in their range, all manufactured in China anyway by OEMs. OEM will make it as good as what these companies are demanding, China companies is very much "what you pay is what you get"

true i agree to that you shouldn't choose by brand, but your comment is out of the topic and context.
my comment is regarding to OP's questions which is "Choosing corsair or coolermaster psu?".

People usually overestimate things like that. For example mine 500W can really handle something like for example Radeon RX 580/590 with ease I would assume. And officially 2070 super really needs like 650W - I took it from Nvidia.com personally, so it's all fine.
