Yeah a case is the way to go, my very first generation Airpod case was full of scratches! Of my pro I am glad that I bought a case from the get go.

same here , my first gen AirPods battery case full of scratches and AirPods have issue with battery drain very fast, warranty no more so I have to buy a new AirPods, hopefully this can last longer

I realized a change in sound too. They say the Bass is higher now. Some experts said the overall sound quality was worse than the previous version of firmware.

Im still waiting for the Spatial Audio

I can't tell the difference in sound quality, but I do hear that the soundstage is a bit further back now giving that sense of direction.
Maybe that is why I am not an expert.

For my case, one of my airpods would stop working after 5mins of usage. I brought it back to Apple and it costs RM350 to replace it. Then they gave me a warning that even though if I replaced it, the other one might go bad so the advice was to get a new set

Was a nice experience.
I find that while the Airpods Pro has more features, for sheer confort the Airpods still wins. Maybe it's a personal thing.

I have the same case too. feels much more premium by putting this case on. and it is made of genuine leather. will color will age over time. bought it 2 days after getting my AirPods Pro.

Guys my AirPods Pro keep failing the ear tip test . Initially happens on right side but now left side also same. Is it hardware faulty? I read on net that trying to suck the air out can help but not permenantly. It’s weird to keep suck on the AirPods Pro everytime especially when you are at outside. Anyone having same issue?
