their sop :

1. verify it genuine product : if not Switch will charge RM 100.00

2. check to make sure is not water damage : if yes switch will charge rm 130.00

3. test with apple equipment at their outlet : duration 1-3 days

4. if equipment confirm can claim : will send in to apple singapore for warranty claim..... : duration around 7 days

now mine is at stage 4

i sent mine around March, i think the RM100 is not genuine or not, I check back my receipt, i remember that the Switch staff told me if after diagnose, if no issue found, they will charge me RM100, because if everyone send in let them diagnose (which has no issue), so I think they stated this clause to protect them, unless customer decided to repair if the issue is not under service program, then RM100 will be waive (repair cost will be charge instead)

mine is on R side, but after they diagnose, they said both side have crackling sound, so I get both side replaced

How come my phone doesn’t show me the battery level of the case? Like the battery widget shows the watch, and AirPods left and right battery level, just not the case. And there’s no pop-up as well when I open the lid near my phone? How do I resolve this issue?

Just collected AirPods Pro from switch.
Apple replace both the left and right AirPods Pro except for the charging case.

When is the cracking sound most significant, I don’t know if mine has issues or not. But there are some sounds that I heard but not very sure if it is.

use both earphones, switch on the noise cancelation, play Better - Khalid, if your AirPods Pro have the cracking manufacturing defect, the cracking sound will start when the bass starts in the song......

its not apparent when you use single earphone.....

you can also hear the crackling sound you you tapping the earphone.....

mine fail Ear Tip Fit Test when the cracking starts to appear...

Ok, so i couldn't play the Better-Khalid. Cause I was testing it in the office.
Anyway, i switched on the noise cancelling, and like you said i tried to brush my fingers on the earphone, the right side started having "Bzzzzz...some of crackling sound when im not supposed to hear anything"
The left one has no issue when i rubbed my fingers on the earbuds while wearing it.

So this means one of them is defective? How long do they take to replace the earbuds for me if I send it to Switch or Machines?

For those who are using foam tips, where do you get yours? I find the default tips dropping off my ears when I jog lately. So annoying. But the other bigger tip doesn’t seem very comfortable for me so…

spatial audio is here soon for the apple music, but the next gen airpods pro no where to be seen. patiently waiting for the next gen pros

Hi guys, i have a question about the usage of airpod pro earbuds, my ear seem to have started developing some weird itching at first, now its getting worst, "clear liquid" keep coming out after i use the airpod pro's , havent gone to doctor yet, but i read online it seems to do with the ear tips and suggestion was to swap it to foam ones, any experiences from anyone here?

anyone knows if the service center allow to open on FMCO?
