Btw, I am planning to use this airpod exclusively in transparency mode... I just like knowing what's around me, even at home, when wife is calling. Always getting scold when i listen with my earphone and can't hear her calling I opt for the Airpod instead of the Sony mainly because reviews pointed out airpod transparency mode is much more superior and natural. Anyone actually use their airpod in transparency mode all the time? Is it actually practical to do that?

I use Transparency mode 95% of the time. Same reason as u, i like to be alert with my surroundings, and Transparency mode have eliminated the feeling of pressured ear over long time usage. Its feels very comfortable even for long hours usage with this mode.

Regarding the shopee link shared above, i’ll remain skeptical since the review numbers are pretty low and it feel fishy with the few lines descriptions. Personally, i won’t spend so much on seller without 100% Authenthic Guarantee badge, since there are a lot AAA grade fake Airpods Pro in shopee. I get mine from Shopee also, from seller with the badge at RM764 during promo.

Good to know it is comfortable to use in transparency mode all the time. Because beside want to aware of my surrounding, I also don't like the feeling of pressured ear. I can't listen with normal bud more than half an hour before needing to let my ear "breath"

That makes me skeptical ...so i need to make sure they have "100% authentic Guarantee badge" to make sure they are not fake? it is not a cert that any seller can just put?

I have a feeling the safest is buy direct from Apple store... and put a custom engraving on it... also a good way to "mark" it as authentic since only official apple provide engraving. maybe better for reselling next time (donno any buyer will think like that)... but i'll hv to pay full rm1099 ......

Sellers with “100% Authentic Guarantee” are committed to sell genuine products since they will be penalized to compensate buyer at 200% of amount paid on top of 100% refunds in any case proven guilty. Shopee will verify and review the sellers before honour the badge to them.

There are a lot reputable sellers in Shopee: ecogadget, Switch, Machine, and other AASP. If you can still hold ur urge, I’ll suggest you to wait for CNY sales during 2.2 to hunt for promo or better benefits. Shopee always have better benefits or pricing comparing to Lazada, most of the time if not all.

thanks for the recommendation. great price. i just received my airpods pro from this seller.

Did some quick verification on the serial number on Apple's website and it's authentic. All 3 places show the same number, box, charging case and the settings on my iPhone.. I think they can use a real case + box for this but they cannot enter the serial number in iphone settings.

you know the serial number is read from the AirPods right? and you know they can program any serial number to the AirPods right?

Then I’m loss for words. I’m happy with the performance thus far. ANC kicked in right after I placed the buds into my ears. Also no annoying intermittent disconnect issues from my old 2015 MacBook Air (other Bluetooth earpiece have this problem).

No purchase date registers. I’m not doing it so soon hoping to prolong the warranty period.

I thought warranty registration is done by seller? If buyer want to register warranty, you need to upload the invoice, which would have the purchase date.. so..... can't really "prolong' ?

i thought warranty is initiated once the product is activated when you switched it on ?

I actually have no idea how does the warranty registration works. If you buy it from retail or online Apple store the its prettt straightforward. In this case I’m buying from a retailer. My warranty page says update purchase info, which I haven’t done yet.

Anyway, my point is that the AirPods Pro is genuine. I’m able to connect seamlessly with my MacBook Air and inside my Mac Bluetooth device page, it’s showing all information correctly, on the latest firmware, manufacturer is Apple and all battery status. Huge difference between ANC and transparency mode so they’re definitely working.

Did you manage to try the Spatial Audio?

Got scared for a while when the spatial audio menu isn’t there. Then I realized it’s because of my iPhone 7 is still on iOS 13. It’s an old phone so not gonna upgrade so I’ll spatial audio a pass.

Tumpang, feel like trying spinfit too. my left earbud keep falling out regardless size. now using L size, wwhich is very rare..usually in ears i use S or M size

How many hours are you guys getting in daily use? Just ended my 2 hr video conference with 10% batt left. Around 50% vol, anc/transparency mode on. Cant even touch 3 hours.. seems a little short vs the 4hr claim.

with the NC off(transparent off)..should be able to last longer time..

Is this standard? I thought the advertised batt life was around 4 hrs with anc on..
