buy such expensive car for what, just buy the cheapest axia then use the extra money and upgrade the sound system with big subwoofer. Not worth buying anything more then 1 litre bcs you will be stuck in a jam 90% of the time.

Technically they didn't commit any offense under Malaysian laws. Under Clause 21A of the Customs Duty Order (Exemption) 1988 allows for imported vehicles registered on the islands to be brought to the mainland, provided it is not for more than 30 days on a single visit, and up to a maximum of 90 days in total per year.

Meaning the car has to go back and forth into Langkawi for it to remain "legal".

Yes, there are specialist transporters specializing in transporting the car to port and shipping it back over to Langkawi. When you need the car, just call and they will send the car back to your front yard on board a flatbed towtruck.
