Hard to believe it that there are still people trying to scalp iphones at this time. Do these scalpers believe that people will still buy from them knowing that there are ready stocks at official resellers and telcos. You could also buy online from Lazada and Apple Store and get it shipped right to your doorsteps. Strange. rclxub.gif

It depends on what your Telco has pre-set for you. So your phone will display what is set by Telco. 4G and LTE are the same.

Seems like Apple is planning to bundle Apple wireless Airpods into the new 2020 Iphones.

"The report claims "smartphone vendors including Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi are looking to bundle their new models with TWS earbuds next year," citing unnamed industry sources. "TWS" or "truly wireless stereo" earphones include the likes of AirPods and Samsung's Galaxy Buds.

We're pretty skeptical about this report due to the price of AirPods, which start at $159. It's hard to imagine Apple including such a costly accessory in the box with new iPhones next year without raising the price of the iPhones overall… not to mention that DigiTimes doesn't have a stellar track record with Apple rumors either.

AirPods are also tremendously popular by all indications, so it is hard to see why Apple would give them away for free when millions of customers are clearly happy to fork over a few hundred dollars for them already. In fact, the new AirPods Pro are in such high demand that Apple is reportedly doubling production.

Apple has included basic, wired EarPods with a Lightning connector in the box with iPhones for several years. Those earphones likely cost Apple very little to manufacture, retailing for just $29 on its website.

While this rumor seems questionable for now, it is certainly possible that Apple simply feels it is time to include something more modern than EarPods with its iPhones. AirPods are already said to be the world's best selling truly wireless earphones, and bundling them with iPhones would only extend that lead.

If it were to happen, we would imagine AirPods would only be bundled with higher-end iPhone 12 Pro models. We're still a little under ten months away from those devices, so we'll see if this rumor gains any traction as time goes on."

So guess the price of the Iphone 11S Pro Max 256GB..... Rm7500 at least? rolleyes.gif

I guarantee you it won't happen bro. Look how long it took them to bundle an 18W fast charger.
*
I'd say Yes Way. How did Apple maintain tremendously high profits these few years despite lower sales volume?
By increasing their prices and pricing their products on the highest point possible and yet people still buy their junk. So I think mostly likely they will do it this round.

Thank you all here for making Apple a trillion dollar company. thumbup.gif

The 18W fast charger was a different case bro. It wasn't a good reason to jack up the prices tremendously. With the Airpods, this is going to be a different game.

Rm7500 for 2020 Iphone 11S Pro Max 256GB. rclxm9.gif

Bundle in the Airpods, jack up the price and make everybody who wants to buy an IPhone buy the Airpods as well.

I've done 10 hours SOT in two days before needing a charge. You won't get that in an Android phone unless it has a 5000mAh battery and above.
You will find the integration of the iphone with your Macbook and iPad very useful, to  be honest. What you do lose out on is the ease of file transfer and customisation of Android vs iOS.

Not surprised on your S9 as I've owned the S9+ before. Any Samsung phone without a minimum 4000mAh battery will struggle to last you a whole day without charging.

While I don't go 10 hours on a day straight, but I've done it over two days - which is a good balance between standby and usage bro. My stats over here.

I think it's not difficult to go 8-10 hours SOT in a day on modern phones with a 4000mAh battery or greater nowadays - particularly on WiFi. Just charge it to full then loop a YouTube video and watch it go laugh.gif

What Apple has done with the Pro Max on a 3,969mAh is beyond impressive bro - it's a far better experience than the XS Max.
*
Seems like you have nothing but praises for the Iphone 11 Pro Max. hmm.gif Still not going to change my mind about replacing my XS Max with the 11 Pro Max. tongue.gif

QUOTE(cstkl1 @ Dec 3 2019, 08:36 PM)
i think its the
1. A13 chip(lower fab.. more performance at same or equal power)
2. the screen brightness. setting it arnd half u get about an X brigtness
3. ios 13 native dark mode
4. intel wifi/4g/bluetooth chipset improvement

pretty sure its no 1 and 4 is the major contribution in-conjunction with 3.
*
I would agree with no 1 and 4 like you mentioned but not no3. I am running the same native dark mode on my Xs Max. I dont feel much difference in battery life.

and soon other flagships will follow as usual despite early resistance. The mid-rangers will fight on saying "hey look we still have ports"
*
Nobody is resisting. Wireless charging was already here on androids long long long before Apple started to introduce it. whistling.gif What I'm saying is that, Apple rather than coming up with innovation, they are actually trying to milk every dollar out of consumers like you and me. What's the issue with having a wire charging our device since we already have wireless charging. Wont it be the best of both worlds to have both type of charging on our phones rather than one. Can you imagine how much money they could make of you since you would need to replace your wired charger at home, in your office, in your car, your gf's house etc.

But then as usual, Fags will be Fags. How can Apple do any wrong? rolleyes.gif

Yes. Some never car models comes wireless charging ports for smartphones as well. nod.gif But the question is, how many % of cars or furniture are adopting wireless charging? Should we change our cars or furniture just to make sure it can charge our "only wireless charging phone"? rolleyes.gif

think you dont realize how insane furniture biz is.
the demand is more than supply to a point now its problem with skilled workers at factory and installation.
my bet is by 2025 at-least 40% of household in malaysia will have wireless charging in their furniture preinstalled.

it COMES with it. its not you change your furniture for it.
when you HAD to buy something it came with it.

cars owners wont even reach that kind percentage.

wireless charging is the standard. since the base standard for safe phone charging is at 5w.. so why not just go wireless. apple surely would have just checked their stats on how many ppl actually plugged their phone to sync with itunes.
*
While I'm not against technological advancement, I just don't understand why they have to totally remove the wired charging. Just leave it alone until wireless fast charging tech reaches maturity stage.

To be fair to Apple, other Android manufacturers removed the very important headphone jack too. Why? To make you buy their wireless earphones and to make your favourite earphones obsolete.
QUOTE(clocksmolder @ Dec 8 2019, 11:47 AM)
Actually the point is a portless phone not wireless only.
Soon that will become a ‘thing’.
Yes true. Apple will go all out to milk and people are ready and waiting to be milked. This year’s iPhones with stove top selling well when prior to launch, based on leaks was branded ugly.
Just like the headphone jack, never thought Samsung would remove it.
