rm1688. bought from a guy who got his iphone x replaced at apple authorised service centre. it is a refurbished one but everything is brand new no matter cosmetic wise or battery (100%). so it is as good as a brand new one except the model number starts with 'N' instead of 'M' on a brand new one.
it is still below the price of a brand new iphone se 64gb (rm1999) which I find it quite a good buy still.
a comparable latest model iphone 11 pro is priced at rm4899. i only spent 1/3 of the price to get a 3 years old brand new phone. i think it is totally worth it.
my logic is iphone can be used for at least 5 years. so divide the price by 5, every year depreciate 20%, 3 years depreciate 60%, so i only spent 34% of the price for the same range of model now, it is still worth it.
i am sure iPhone x can get 5 versions of iOS supported or even 6 like iPhone 6s or iPhone 5s.
although it only has A11 vs the A13 chip on iphone se. but A11 is still way powerful even now. (i still use my iphone x as my daily driver for almost 3 years now and no slowness - only gaming for too long will have overheat issues thus throttling, but if one only does youtube viewing or web surfing, it is still overpowered.)
the display is certainly nicer than SE becos of OLED and higher resolution. will be more pleasing to look at on a daily basis.
the display is also bigger, to me i will also find iphone se screen size too small, not to mention my dad, i think iphone x the size is still ok.
most importantly, the all screen display will look nicer still over the years than the outdated iphone 8 design on SE.
Seems like you really got yourself a good deal then...
Im very sure the IPhone X still has plenty years of life left. Just that it might need a battery change after 2 years.
