Recently my laptop will suddenly goes black but the keyboard light and fan are still working. I will just restart it by pressing the power button and turn it on and it return to normal. However, it then goes black again after awhile, what is the problem to it ? Perhaps it's the screen or software or worst still it's the motherboard problem?

Motherboard problem thisss.. i know bcos i once like overclocked my CPU until it rosak..tried to turn on back, screen black, fan on and nothing else..went to local repair, he said wat u do to ur laptop ur motherboard is hangkang liao

Oh really ?! But I still able to turn on the laptop and then it suddenly goes black after using not long later. If it is the motherboard problem, how much does it cost to fix it ?

i could be wrong tho..anyways if it really is motherboard problem, pricey leh..price varies depends on what laptop u use..once my friend said to me better buy new laptop la if wanna change motherboard..

Does it still have warranty? Perhaps you should send it back to the manufacturer for diagnostics and RMA if possible.
