best approach would be to get forummer suggestions here then go visit out good friend google and do some research..thats why wont just be making your buying decision based on hearsay.

I would suggest corsair or silverstone....you can also try to check out gigabyte...their new range of Odin PSU seems to have some nifty management capability, but not sure about their performance yet...

Yup, if u not concern abt the budget. Go for Enermax Liberty. If u want a nice performance over its value, then go for Silverstone or Acbel i-Intelligent

I will suggest Enermax Liberty. Enermax is not really costly actually after u have consider about its performance and reliability. I rather pay little bit more for Enermax, instead of spend more on maintainess later

What's your budget? Sice you gave a value of 500 i would estimate the range of roughly 500W to 600W. I would suggest getting SST-ST56F for RM349 from modernopc.

Actually RMA cases happen everyway also, even well established manufactuere like Antec, Enermax, Acbel Coolermaster also have RMA rate. Normaly PSU problem is nothing much except lighning or power over loaded. Research found, Malaysia is among the most thunderstrike country in world.

Better use surge protector for ur PSU

Well, i am starting to find the buzzing sound of the Silverstone quite annoying already. It happens even when your PC is turned off..

Still, its a solid PSU but i am interested to try out the Corsair one though.
