hope you guys dont mind me asking this question, seeing how this is the latio thread after all.

compared to Vios or City, is the Latio bigger or smaller. i have a friend who kept telling me the Latio is smaller than Vios. But i've seen Latio on the street before, and i think it is about the same size.
*
No way the Latio can be smaller than the Vios. Have u sat in a Vios b4? A Wira's cabin is bigger compared than it smile.gif

It is too early to tell to calculate the petrol consumption... let me calculate after few round of refill..
(period --> rm1.71 per km...)
*
RM1.71/km or RM0.171/km? I believe you have a typo error there.

biggrin.gif 17cent/km. Kinda similar to my current 1.3GLi's figure (city drive). No worries, it should improve gradually after the engine run-in period. Cheers for the new ride you got there. Envy biggrin.gif

I can't help but feeling that the Latio will get a facelift couple of years later. Hopefully etcm will include the xtronic cvt by then.

Jehutyz, how many years of loan u took?

Just came back from Nissan's roadshow. I was fooled by the exterior size of the Latio. The interior amazes the hell outta me ohmy.gif Plenty of spaces and storage. Hell, the glovebox is so deep that i could put bags in it. The leather on the door panel is good to the touch. The magnetic boot is smooth. The rear room is spacious, bigger than Honda City. I'll be test driving it sometime around next week tongue.gif

What's the hype about the Latio. I only find the Hatchback very chun, but the sedan looks ugly! The rear looks like my first impression of Honda City which is (in my opinion) ugly!

I saw once, Latio sedan. Really look boxy from behind doh.gif
Something like kids boxes car. Glue the colgate box on top of another box doh.gif
But the hatchback so nice.
*
You guys should get a test drive and check out the interior. By far, the Latio has the best interior space and also comfortable in it's price range smile.gif

Fully agree with you...at first, i also think latio is ugly looking car just like honda city but when i actually went to nissan showroom to see & touched it, my perception changed...for me, latio is a very beautiful car either sedan or hatchback...and the interior is very nice, spacious & rear legroom is better than my friend's civic 1.8...i managed to test drive 1.6STL (A), the engine is very quiet, good sound insulation, good & smooth response from engine...latio is absolutely a better choice than vios or city...anyway, it is just my opinion...different people, different taste  drool.gif
*
Exactly. At i first, i did see the Latio like 'just another ordinary sedan', until I actually see it and feel it, i'm amazed. The interior really touches my heart wub.gif Leather's everywhere, the deep glovebox...could be able to squeeze in two handbags, the CVTC engine, the seats, the one-touch-to-open boot and the solid sound when it closes, the i-key.... too many to list down. I just love this Nissan thumbup.gif And my current baby 4G13 suddenly felt so crappy blush.gif

Envy those who own this baby smile.gif

Holy shit... my dad's planning to buy a new car. He's interested in the Civic 1.8... but i'd rather he pick the Latio Sport. But at the same time, i hope i can get one for myself in years to come sad.gif
