Hi sifus, looking for recommendation on comfort tyres to change for:

205/55R16
Using Michelin PS4 now, great grip but on the noisier and rougher ride side, so looking to change to something more comfort-oriented like Primacy 4 or similar from other brands, any advice?
Budget: max RM400 per tyre

225/65R17
Using Michelin Primacy SUV, great grip and ride but a little noisy as well, any recommendation from other brands or best still change back MPSUV?
Budget: max RM550 per tyre

Thanks!

205 55 16 primacy 4 is already very good for quietness and comfort.other option which is lower budget for quiet and comfort are continental cc6 and goodyear assurance triple max 2.

Consider Continental if you are on a budget. These tires are smooth and quiet on the highway.

Other than price are there any major differences between the CC6 and P4? Are the P4 worth the extra ~RM120 per piece?

What would be the main benefits over the Primacy 4 like road noise and softness considering its abt RM150 more expensive?

Primacy is like cc6. But got extra grip.

Rm120 not really worth it if u calculative one.

Michelin the whole line up is overprice. Imagine xm2 already so long in the market yet still sell expensive. Xm2+ follow xm2 premium price.

Primacy 4 also expensive. Ps4 even more expensive. Way more expensive than other same ultra high performance tyre level.

S1Noble2 is not more expensive than Primacy4. Depending on size, it's about 100 - 200 cheaper than P4. Try Teoh's brother in Klang.

The S1Noble2 has very good treadwear (500), good grip on both wet & dry and comfortable.

Understood, guess P4 is still one of the best option

Is the S1 Noble 2 available in 205/55R16? Checking Hankook's website only the ventus v2 concept and v12 evo 2 is available in this size...

Anyone has advice for the SUV tyres? (225/65R17)

Better grip than cc6, but a bit noisy and firm.

Thank you! Price wise it should be cheaper than Michelin Primacy, right? Just need to sacrifice the comfortness.

I’m just afraid you will waste more money in future if you take other brands like cc6 considering you have tried Michelin PS4. Grip in PS4 is so much different vs cc6. You might not like the grip and change to new tyre again instead.
