if im not wrong, dentist don't have MC to give, they can only give timeslip, which prove that time u are having dental services

they cannot prove u loss too much blood causing headache or what cz they are not doctor.. they only take care of your teeth

tldr: find doctor for mc

don't be stupid. dentist MC is just as valid as any GP MC.

yes they can't prove how much blood you lose but they can prove that you had an infected tooth and had to drill your jaw bone off, and stitch the gums back together making you unable to talk or eat properly for the next 24-48 hours.

I used to date a dentist that says that they work regular office hours cause "toothache will not kill you". I guess this is what bosses think too

Report to labour office and MOH. Tooth extraction is serious. Its a minor surgery and not taken care properly will result in serious consequences

Yeah, employee need to know their rights.

I scare one day during interview, need fill up a 'quiz' about worker's right.

Those who get all correct is rejected by HR =X

Yes u are so smart..

Malaysia Employment Act 1955 60F said:
(1A) An employee shall also be entitled to paid sick leave under paragraphs (aa) and (bb) of subsection (1) after examination by a dental surgeon as defined in the Dental Act 1971

But if u read Dental Act 1971,

Section 12 talking about registration of Dental surgeon

Section 13 talking about registration of dentist

In whole of Employment Act you can only find dental surgeon, not the word dentist

So now we talking about mc issued by dentist or dental surgeon in this topic?

I think is how she tell her HR lar,
"Yesterday I just had a Minor Surgery"
and not
" eh, kemarin, Gua Pigi cabut Gigi oh" ...
Surgery is by dental Surgeon,
Cabut Gigi is by dentist...

Any boss who reject dental MC probably never had to do a root canal from an infected molar before.

If the infection is bad, you can't fucking wait till a weekend to get it treated.
