After 3 decent wins, does anyone still want Ole to be sacked? I won't get to excited yet. It is still work in progress and there are a few areas in need of reinforcements. I believe it will take at least 2 or 3 more seasons for this team to really gel to produce results and compete for the title. Meanwhile, for this 2 or 3 season, reaching top 4 and some cup wins should be good enough.

good wins, but stats say alot. chelsea dominated the match and we got lucky with the penalty and rashford's wicked FK. Other than that, chelsea had the better stats in the game in almost all aspects. Most important thin right now is moving on to the next round and get the confidence back up.

I want OGS to get assistance and to improve as a manager, at united or elsewhere does not matter.

well for these few seasons... maybe won ugly or by luck are better than won by stats... we had alot of games where we wont but lose by stats... the best example was the 4-0 thrashing of chelsea... we didnt dominate possession... we have lesser shot on target somemore... haha

Winning ugly is part of building a successful team. Even under SAF period, there were a lot of games where we win ugly and lucky. Fans just remember the good games but forgot about the ugly games. Fans need to grounded and realise the days of SAF is over. If we do not acknowledge this, we will be like Liverpool the past few decades. Keep changing coaches will be a major headache to players. They need to change the style of play every time a new coach comes in and it will not be effective.

Moussa Dembele, Lautaro Martinez, Haaland, Mandzukic.

At first I thought "walau, suddenly buy so many forwards for what?"
But then, ya, not every target will be realized eventually.
May be club don't wanna sell, may be player don't wanna come, may be price not matched.

So set priority list, can't get 1st choice, get 2nd.
Can't get 2nd, get 3rd ....
This approach shud be better compared to only focus on 1 target and die die wanna buy at rocket high price.
Like what we did in last summer. Disaster.

For me, my least favorite will be Lautaro Martinez.
Just not another Argentina man, it prove so many times South America player is not a fit in Man Utd playing style. Why keep fall to the same trap ya?

But still, the top priority is to buy a creative-passing midfielder first la wei.
Why put the focus on striker when the point is about lack of creativity in midfielder? Does OGS really know what he is doing?

Defender still ok la.
The twins + Rojo + Heinze.

But midfielder + striker really cannot adapt into Man Utd playing style.
Fred, AP, Veron, Falcao, Kléberson, Sanchez, di María, Anderson, Forlan.
Wah .... what a disaster list ...

https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/...premier-league/

For non-defender, only Tevez + Valencia did works for us.
All others all just disaster.

Still too early to tell that Fred is a flop or not suited to United style..
Many expected him to be creative, drive the team forward.. imo he is not that kind of player..
So far he shown that he is good at distrupting opponent movements, like a nuisance.. persistently pestering..
If he can improves his passing, agility n toughness.. he can be another version of Kante.. hope he will, only time will tell

Giving too less chance to Garner and Greenwood while each of them is better than any existing midfielders and Lingard.

OGS always say it is better loan out to gain experience but what is the point to loan out if they can't get consistent 1st eleven during loan time?

Beside that, almost no great example of Man Utd's academy player that loan out and come back, and became decent player.
In the another way round, we didn't loan out Rashford and McTom, but they still become one of our best academy in recent years. It prove that loan out academy players won't work for us.

May be Gomes and Chong need to loan out, and will become another wasted talents.
But god damn just give more chance to Greenwood and Garder la ...

No for me.
Just sell in winter and summer will do.
As a DM, not as good as McTom, even having better experience and much more game play.
This show his so called talent is age of 26.
Most importantly, too sakit hati to watch his passing ...

Of coz he is not worth 80mil, we overpayed him by a good 30 mil at least but he is a steady eddie and he is actually quite decent in bringing the ball from the back.

Macguire is not bad but him and Lindelof keep on clashing with each other. Need more communication between the 2 of them.
