Let me try to illuminate regarding professional league in malaysia as i understood it. ALL professional football team in malaysia is operating on the sugar daddy model.  NONE i think are self sufficient. ALL of them have minimal commercial income. Most dont even have any physical assets let alone stadiums. N yet still they all spend like thay have money. N thats why we will always hear about salary being not being paid.

I saw a only few of JDT around 50-60/month. I lupa somebody leaked out their salary too

jdt's safiq rahim used to earn 70k a month, while kedah fa highest paid local footballer used to be paid 70k too

in malaysia football league, as long as u play for our international team  regularly, u will get at least 30-50k ledi

We are heading towards new era in football in Malaysia.  They are paid by clubs. 

Players playing for clubs with good management team, will have no problems with salary.
