Foreigners around RM80K/month

National players 20k/month (popular)

National.players 8k/month (so so only)

Normal player 3-4k/month

I think Perlis FC leaked out the salary slip few years ago

popular national players cn get up to 100k a month, look at jdt

and so so national players usually get 30-50k

normal first team player in super league min 10k n above

I dunno who pays their salary but if gov really pay then so be it.

If our footballers really get paid by sponsors only, then they eat maggi their whole life la. If we want a decent national team then we need to invest in it.

I used to have a footballer rent my house last time. If u want to say they are super rich, no they are not and their careers don't even last very long.

Don't be cheapskate and don't dengki them. They are more Malaysian than most of us.

I DO mind if taxpayers are paying them. They dont produce result event after years and more years. This is not dengki. This is saving taxpayers from the money being wasted.

Im glad if they dont touch taxpayers money.

Those players right now dont even deserve 6k per month with their current sampah skills.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Malaysian footballers are paid by gov right? Monthly average about RM30+k

I thought these type of sports are paid by sponsors or sales? For example English premier leagues are paid by broadcast, merchandise sales and ticket sales.

Why is tax payer funding the players when they can't even qualify for the world cup?

paid by the nenek kau punya government. Tak tahu jangan nak tunjuk pandai.

State govt owned team / club = paid by the state govt. not federal
Private owned team / club = paid by the club owner

what's your point, TS? you dengki trying to persoal this kind of logic? lol

E.g. Private - FELDA, JDT & PJ City
E.g. State govt - Selangor Kedah etc

6k and to be criticised by a stadium and the newspapers the next day, who will want to play la?

I know our football isn't great, but to follow your payscale it will get even worse la. Gym trainer earns more than that.

Do you know that FIFA forbid gomen intervention in football association? FAM is not run by gomen and get money from gomen. Same like state football association. It just that like other commentor said, it run on patronage and the highesy patronage you can get is either by the royals like Johor or by state head. Easier to get fund that way since most of my local companies kedekut nak mampos.

Let me try to illuminate regarding professional league in malaysia as i understood it. ALL professional football team in malaysia is operating on the sugar daddy model.  NONE i think are self sufficient. ALL of them have minimal commercial income. Most dont even have any physical assets let alone stadiums. N yet still they all spend like thay have money. N thats why we will always hear about salary being not being paid.

Indra Putra Mahyuddin when play with Kelantan, paid by KAFA for 11K

Under Felda United FC, paid 75K per month by Felda.

If state owned, cheaper a lot, for private club owned, normally expensive lot more compared to state.

Even my friend under JDT before, monthly only get 2.5K because he’s under reserved player, not first eleven.

Most JDT first eleven now getting min at 10K.
