My sister is planning to vlog soon, however she don't have skills with video editing. Can you suggest the best video editor that vloggers could use easily? I needs to add funny sound effects, slow motion, and other effects to make the video more interesting and fun to watch. confused.gif

Which format is the recording? FHD can use iPhone only as example but 4K footage need good hardware to edit & rendering.

I'm using FCPX (Final Cut Pro X) on Mac.- RM 1299. You can search for others.
Any software, it needs a learning curve - you'll (or your sister) will have to keep on learning. Just search on Youtube... many tutorials...

And, you (or your sister) will need time to search for the sound effects, music...

But I think you can get lot of info HERE

I personally use Shotcut. It's free however learning curve quite steep for a beginner and not the most stable software out there.

If possible, use a computer to edit, its more flexible and smooth.

Heres some programs i use and would suggest you trying it out :
1) Adobe Premiere Pro (WINDOWS & MAC)
2) Final Cut Pro X (MAC ONLY)

Yes, both of them costs money and expensive. You can try out the trial version, annnnnddddd theres also 'some' other ways of getting it too biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

You can download any other app you want. There's plenty of them on the internet. I personally can recommend you the ones I tried, I mean Filmora, Camtasia, Shotcut, Lightworks. By the way, if your computer is constantly lagging, then you should consider trying an online editor like https://www.fastreel.com/.

Just use inShot Pro. I would recommend it for beginner and intermediate Youtubers who are just starting out. It's an Android app.
