CIMB i heard providing very competitive price SGD > MYR as many of my malaysian friend work in sg also using cimb to bring back their money... haha

To guys who live in Malaysia, anyone contact ibkr phone before? I tried some search and someone said use Skype call toll free number, is it still workable? .. Some provide Asia like hk sg etc number.. I don't want get blown on my bill as I know calling CS will not take a short time and might be long waiting list..

Used live chat before and they ask me call in.. Just tried with Skype it's working just that they mention the Cs is closed.. Maybe I call again during Monday night when they trading start lol

i open with TSG as well. IBKR do entertain just that they didnt able to solve my issue and ask me contact their cs by phone.
today i called their cs, i not sure if i key correct setting, i key my acc and key to other acc then the guy told me my issue need call TSG and provide me a number.
18003281267 i couldnt google an official number of it. They told me they are clearing house, my issue they check should be handle by my broker which is TSG.

Yes, if you are under TSG, you are supposed to only communicate with your advisor i.e. TSG usually via email. It is not because IBKR is rude but because IBKR doesn't handle your account (i.e. wasting their time since you are exactly not their customer) and certain questions are answered differently e.g. the fee structure is different from IBKR's. TSG is quite responsive from my experience.

If you are under pure IBKR, then you can use the live chat (I used this only when I migrated to pure IBKR).

I always thought acc related stuff go to IBKR as we login and using their interface etc. Now they make me wonder is it TSG will back to IB or TSG able to solve it as well.. lolx.
