It would be no difference than Wise/Instarem direct wire though. The benefit of going through SGD in a Singapore Bank named after you is to have a proper trail after all, less headache when IBKR rejects it.
Yup currently i using SGD method, but i am open for new option.QUOTE(jay2you @ Mar 19 2021, 04:32 PM)
FYI this transaction is done successfully last year. Right now they are sort of conducts due diligence reviews to transaction with different account name. I guess i will just be showing the proof of my account in instarem with my name and same address with my IBKR account will do and the proof of transaction that i made.
Do you mean normally you using instarem to submit and didnt get questioned?QUOTE(jay2you @ Mar 20 2021, 11:08 AM)

Random midnight snapshot for those curious on how to bring money back from IBKR->CIMBSG->CIMBMY
TransferWise:

CIMB SG -> MY self account remit

The CIMB SG->CIMB MY transfer rate is pretty good! For MYR->SGD the usual path is still better.
CIMB i heard providing very competitive price SGD > MYR as many of my malaysian friend work in sg also using cimb to bring back their money... hahaTransferWise:
