What justify your Salvation?
Romans 4:25 (NIV) - He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
The Bible tells us Jesus's finished work on the cross is our justification. If Jesus's work on the cross did not remove our sins, He would not be raised to life. The fact that Jesus was raised means our sin have been put away. And the Bible tells Jesus only dies once for this. Think about it. Is it an only 1 time initial grace and after that it all now depends on working out your Salvation? Answer is No. You have nothing to work out if Salvation was never given to you in the 1st place.
The value and power of Christ blood is timeless and avails for all time. It is greater than any sins you've just or has committed even greater and the ability of the devil.
We need to repent in our mind and always believe on this assured foundation. I use the word assured on purpose.
IF Salvation depends on our good behavior and our obedience to God, there is NO assurance. Man can fail anytime and in an instance. There is no consistency with us. It becomes merit base Salvation.
So what justify your Salvation?
Meditate on Romans 4:25 as above.
PS:
Acts 13:39 (Berean) - Through Him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses.
God Bless.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified
Romans 10:9 - 10 (NIV) - If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
God the Father value Christ's Finished work at the cross. So much so that when you believe with your heart, you are justified. That is so powerful.
Beloved , meditate on this simple yet profound truth.
God Bless

If you continue in your faith, God promise to work in your life despite of your weakness
Colossians 1:21-23 (NIV) - 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of g your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Colossians 2:11-12 (NIV) - 11 In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

God forgave us ALL our sins.
Colossians 2:13-15 (NIV) 13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
The verse in Colossians 2:13-15 are vital verses you can meditate and embrace whenever you have doubts on your salvation. Whenever there is nagging conscious which can be either of your own self condemning thoughts or the devil, remember Colossians 2:13-15.
If God forgave all our sins, who has the right to condemn you? Not even your own self has that right. God is the greater one who will judge all life even unto the fallen angels. God's word says it very clearly here, the debt of your charge has been CANCELLED. Keep that as a divine receipt in your heart.
When you know your sins are forgiven because of the cross, the powers of the devil and his kingdom are disarmed. <-----KEY Revelation.
This is so very important because there may be some of you who encounter spiritual attacks in your own life or your family.
The devil is the father of all lies, hence his power is based on lies. Lying symptoms and lying deceptive attacks all designed to fool you into thinking he still has the right into believers' life who has been redeemed.
You can quote this verses vocally in prayer against the evil one. If you are someone that is a threat to the devil, you will be noticed by them. The devil wanted to sift Apostle Peter as wheat, remember? The more that you are attacked, the more you should know you are someone of divine potential for God. The Apostle peter failed as he denied Jesus 3 times, Yet the Lord restored him later, so don't lose courage.
The phrase He forgave all our sins means ALL of them, not one remains intact. Otherwise our Lord Jesus Christ would have not been raise to life for our justification. There may be some of you who disagree and think God's grace is only initial (starting point) then the rest depends on your own working out Salvation. This is an age old error which is not supported by Bible which I believe the devil has deceptively inserted unto some people who are ignorant of God's truth.
The word all here in the Greek is "PAS" which means exactly what it is...ALL.
Friends, when God forgive, it is ALL our sins, not some. If you want The Lord's victory over the evil one, you will need to accept this truth.
God Bless.

Ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will.
Colossians 1:9-13 (NIV) - 9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Knowing God's will is not something obscure and mysterious. Many times Jesus who is the Image of God mention the will of God as recorded in Bible. Therefore to know God's will, you got to know the Bible in and out.
God's word tell us, knowing Him (His Word) being filled with his wisdom and understanding, we may bear fruit in every good work....even having GREAT endurance and patience. And we all want that don't we?
There are so many treasure in the verses above, so many blessings. I love the part where it says, in Jesus we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Plural).
Outside of Jesus there is nothing, no redemption no forgiveness of sins.
brethren I urge you abide in Christ, stay in Him.
God Bless.

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Oct 5 2021, 12:01 PM) would you please further expand on what you mean by fallen world? John 18:36 (NIV) - Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” This world is not God's world, it is a fallen and corrupted world where the devil is god (smaller g) Fallen world means everything in the natural is corrupted. Hence there is death and decay, evil, etc etc. God is not obliged to what is not His. Reason being God is a God of justice and order, He doesn't do whatever He like though He can. To do whatever He likes, for example like making a person suffer for no reason would be unjust, you get the idea. He follows though order, laws that has been established or created.

Whenever I hear sermons
1 Thessalonians 2:13 (NIV) - And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
This is the position and attitude to have whenever we go to church to hear the word of God being preached.

Keep yourself in God's Love
Jude 1:21 (NIV) - keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Keeping ourselves in God's love means that You stay/abide in God and be close because you know and also believe God loves you. Discard every thought that makes you think God is wrathful towards you.
Being close to God is everything, it is so important because the devil would not hesitate to tear you apart in life in reality. I say reality not fantasy.
Being close to God would also mean you know you have access to God answering your prayers.
Living in the today's world, we need God more than ever as the days are evil.
Dearly beloved keeping ourselves in God's love would also mean you communicate with Him all the time in prayer. It's what I do.
To keep myself away from the world, I choose to refrain from worldly muddle. Things like being engross with worldly music, shows or movies that's full of sexual innuendo.
In fact ever since I've discovered the vast Christian music where it's quality surpasses of that of secular, I've stopped listening to secular ones. I'm not asking you to follow my footstep but when you get to where I am, things like this comes naturally.
Worldly media are full of junk negativity and paranoia fear mongering. I avoid those. I'm not asking us to be ignorant of what is going on but to be firmly establish in the word of God where there is always Truth and Hope. The data's of this world are of a fallen world where the devil rules, by this you should understand what it means.
Understand that our goal is towards God's kingdom, not this world. This world will pass away be destroyed whether we like it or not. And it is proven by the evil that will only get worse because the devil's time here is short.
The people who don't understand God thinks this world will be here forever. They who do not believe will witness the stark evil and darkness increases as the evident. So much so they will not be able to take it. BY then they will have to choose to consider that God is real. It may be too late for them but not for you.
Stay and keep yourselves in God's Love where there is life, outside of it, is death.
God Bless.

Grace teaches us to say No
Titus 2:11 - 12 (NIV) For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
The word of God says here the grace of God has appeared that offer Salvation. How can Grace appear if it's just a teaching or just a subject of the Bible? The Bible must have meant something else.
John 1:17 tells Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ.
I submit to you Grace = Jesus Christ. Supported by the phrase "offer Salvation to all people in same verse".
The word of God is so clear, it tells us Grace teaches us to say No to ungodliness, not you. Not your pastor or any Bible teachers.
What is Grace?
Grace = undeserved, unmerited favor of God.
It is something that you cannot earn or merit by your performance. It is given unmerited.
How can Grace teaches us to say No? How can this favor of God teaches us to say no to ungodliness?
I cannot fully explain this to you, it must be experience personally by you.
The Bible promises those who keep receiving God's Grace (His unmerited favor) and the gift of righteousness will reign in life (Romans 5:17).
This is something supernatural from God. Anyone can teach..other religion, even secular seminars, positive motivation gurus teaches, do good get good, do bad, get bad. But it will take the Holy Spirit to illuminate the revelation, the ungodly can receive good from God. And THAT will change the person inside out by God Himself to be sober, to repent from evil.
The Apostle Paul is one such testimony.
Friends, look to Grace. It is one of the most powerful attribute of God that changes lives.
God Bless.

Be at peace with everyone
Hebrews 12:14 - 14 (NIV) Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
We have missed what the Christian Life is all about if we are constantly gnashing our teeth against people, being bitter, etc.
The Bible teaches, make EVERY effort. The Word of God is clear. If Jesus Christ tells us to love our enemies and we refuse, are we on the right track with God?
Bitter root here means you have bitter in the heart against people and this trait will cause trouble and defile many.
Reflect on this if you are against people all the time for no reason or that is your reason valid before a Holy and Loving God.
Do not self justify, neither be self righteous for this. But submit to God to love one another.
God Bless

Ephesians 4
Instructions for Christian Living
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.
20 That, however, is not the way of life you learned 21 when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. 22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26 “In your anger do not sin” : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold. 28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

The word is near you
Romans 10:8-13 (NIV)
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
The word here refers to God's Word being near you, in your mouth and in your heart. What does that mean?
Basically the power of God's word is near you. Bible tells us, God's Word is spirit and alive, it has divine power.
How?
BY the confession of your mouth, uttering God's Word you are saved. If it's just dead letters and words, you cannot be saved. Reading words from any other books, does nothing. What I'm trying to say is that, God's Word has power because it is Alive. (Living Words).
Think about it.
Likewise when we quote scripture in situations, God's Word activate God's Power.
1 Corinthians 4:20 (NIV) - For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
Let’s say that while driving to work one morning, you hear some professor saying over the radio, “One in every five women will develop this disease by the age of forty.” That’s the time you must say, “It is written—‘Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence’” (Ps. 91:3).
If you do this, you are putting up a shield of faith and you are releasing power as you declare that regardless of what the reports of the world say, your God shall deliver you from every deadly disease!
Here’s another example of when and how you can quote the written Word. Suppose for some reason, you are crippled by vivid images in your mind of yourself dying young and leaving your spouse and little ones to fend for themselves. Again, this is the time to speak the Word of God against those fears. Declare, “It is written—‘With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation’” (Ps. 91:16).
Maybe you might know of an acquaintance who was killed in a fatal accident. Now, you are fearful that the same thing might happen to you. My friend, the enemy has just shot you with a fiery dart. We do not know what the other person believed. We can only be responsible for our own beliefs and lives.
Perhaps your relatives or family members have died from the same illness and the enemy is now attacking you with thoughts that you will also develop diabetes like your father and uncle did, or die from the same heart condition they had.
My friend, if you have been entertaining thoughts like these, NOW is the time to rise up and make this declaration: “A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall NOT come near me” (Ps. 91:7)!
Friend, The Word is NEAR You! God is NEAR you!
God Bless.

God clothing you is the work of God
Matthew 22:11-14 (NIV) - 11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. 13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.”
Good Day fellow Christians.
In Matthew 22, Jesus Christ spoke this parable against the chief priests and the Pharisees.
It's a parable of the Kingdom of Heaven.
It's basically a parable explaining the Israelites were the first offered to be invited into God's Kingdom but they rejected him. Then when God open up the invitation to the rest of the world, everyone came but among the guests, there's a Man whom the King noticed was not wearing wedding cloths and got thrown out into darkness.
Upon surface reading, this may seem cruel.
But if you have read the entire Bible, you will understand why. That is why it is so important that you do. It's one of the reason why I share daily devotion to help you to understand the Bible better.
In the book of Genesis after Adam and Eve Sin, they realize they were naked. And the Bible tells us in Genesis 3, God made garment of skin to cloth them. Take a note on this. In the Parable of the prodigal son, when the wayward son came back to the Father, he was put on the best robe. Take a note on this too.
In the Book of Zachariah, Joshua the high priest was in vision seen by Prophet Zachariah. He was in Heaven before God's Angel and was in filthy cloth. The angel said "Take off his filthy clothes" And in the next verse, it says “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.” You will begin to notice in all these incidents, God is the one who cloth his people. What does this mean?
Your own cloth signify your own righteousness. When God cloth you, He is clothing you with Jesus's Righteousness. In Matthew 22, the wedding is the celebrated feast for God's people. People who wears wedding cloth are saved by Christ, hence given wedding clothes.
The Man who wore his own cloths in essence means this person rejects God's Grace and wants to come into God's kingdom on his own worthiness or righteousness (own works or performance).
This is why he was thrown out.
Nobody can come to God's Kingdom unless he admits he/she is a sinner and need saving.
Sometime Man can be so vain and conceited. God offered to cloth you without merit and we slap that away? We can be so arrogant at times because we think we can. The OT Law given to prove that you cannot. Break 1 law is as good as breaking all of them as apostles James put it.
Only God's work can save you. You can donate billions of whatever currency to charity even that cannot save you.
The Bible says it very very clear. Our own righteousness is as filthy rags or filthy woman sanitary napkin to be precise. (Isaiah 64:6) Notice..on clothing again?
When God offers to cloth you, the right attitude to exhibit is to be grateful and accept it with humility and reverential fear. Don't slap away God's Grace because you are never God. What can you offer to an infinite and unlimited God who has everything?
I hope this convicts you, those who think they can add works to gain heaven.
God Bless.

Taste and see that the LORD is good
Psalm 34:8 (NIV) - Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Our faith is not something that is wishful or pretense.
It is neither meant to just feel good or something atmospheric.
The Bible say TASTE and SEE.
The Israelites tasted literal manna from Heaven. They Saw the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.
They tasted the goodness of the promise land, the huge grapes, their abundant crops.
All those are from God.
If God is the same yesterday today and tomorrow then this verse hold true even until now. I do not believe in the doctrine the dispensation of God's miracle ended with the apostles.
No where in the Bible it says that. It's the problem of our human presumption.
Some may argue, how come we don't see great miracles as in the days of the apostles. Since when it has to be great miracles to qualify that God is still dispensing miracles today?
No friend, I am one testimony among the many that still tasted and have seen that the Lord is indeed GOOD!
I urge you to come into Stubborn Faith but makes sure your faith is on right foundation Jesus Christ instead of OT laws (own performances -work)
Today's blessings is on the foundation of the New Covenant - Faith in Jesus Christ.
Galatians 3:5 (KJV) - He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
God Bless

In vs According
1 John 1:5 - 10 (NIV)
5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all b sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Walking in the Light here means, you know that you have been saved therefore walk as you have been saved. There is a difference between walking IN the Light vs ACCORDING to the Light. Walking according to the Light as how some erroneous preaching sometime imply means you're "trying" to get to be saved depending on how you walk.
Notice the reasoning given in scripture here in verse 6. If we claim that we have fellowship and yet walk in darkness.
Think about it ...of what the next verse says.."We lie."
Meaning we are not being true to the fact that we have been saved. Hence the phrase "lie" here.
I pray the Holy Spirit will help you understand this verse and get you encouraged to know you have been saved.
God Bless.

Your Goal
1 Timothy 1:5-7 (NIV) - 5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6 Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. 7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.
1. Pure Heart 2. Good Conscience 3. Sincere Faith.
To the pure all things are pure but to the corrupted, everything is corrupted (Titus 1:15). We need to learn to look towards and always strive for all things pure. Remember the life of Heaven is pure, you are going there, hence all sinful traits MUST be cut off. The Bible uses words like put sin to death. How? Understand that Christ has (not perhaps) but 1000% removed it from your status hood, therefore WALK in it. Not trying to earn it.
When you are saved, have a good conscious rather than being negative, avoid thinking corrupted thoughts against God or anything else. You cannot stop bad thoughts from passing through your mind but you can stop from allowing it to stay in your mind.
Have sincere and stubborn Faith. If you don't have, Ask God, He will give you.
Christian Love comes out of pure heart, good conscience and sincere Faith.
God Bless.

Advocate
1 John 2:1-2 (NIV) 1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
The word advocate there is a law term, like a lawyer. But this is a divine lawyer, God level. One who defends you if you sin.
Hope the Holy Spirit reveal this to your heart.
God Bless
