Expecting to get android 11 with the emui 11 but it's still on android 10. So sad

Still holding on to my 5t because 2 years warranty till 11/2021.

yeah, it's only EMUI 11 and not android 11. Me on 2 years warranty as well.
I am getting myself a new phone, most probably Samsung A52 5G version to replace my Nova 5T. Thinking to go for Huawei, but since they are no GMS, that's really turned me off.

i thought Google Play can install later on for huawei product now? now got people provide service to install it right? A52 seem a bit downgrade compare nova 5T right in term of processing power and graphic too?

yes a bit downgrade, especially on the size, weight and smooth operating thanks to kirin 980. Even EMUI is feel much better than One UI. But I am not into gaming tbh. Display side on screen, camera A52 output more pleasingly to the eyes IMO.
yes you're right about googlifed into newer Huawei, but I am not ready into that as I believe when we invested something that is not cheap, I am expecting my android is ready out of the box.

It won't be the same as legit preinstalled from factory. Will have some problems later, especially for games that uses google cloudsync. Its probably fine if you don't do games but I'll avoid it nevertheless.

ok noted on that.. because I almost buy the new huawei phone to upgrade from this Nova 5T.. alhamdulillah i check first..

maybe you can consider the coming Honor 50 that having the same feel just like Huawei but come with Google into it.

Ya just got honor 50 for my wife yesterday, change from nova 5t...currently im using the nova 5t...i can say that magic ui is just like emui also..so if u want to jump to honor 50 the ui experience will be the same and u already familiar with, and it comes with GMS

I've bought and used my nova 5t since october 2019 and its 2 years warranty just expired last month. Coincidentally my youngest bro's phone broke and he's going to his dorm next week. Decided to pass on my nova 5t to him and upgrade to something better. Ended buying xiaomi mi11t. Nova 5t isn't a bad phone afterall if i can use it 2 years with some heavy gaming here and there. Only the speaker abit too soft and battery capacity abit small compared to nowadays 5000mah. Would probably upgrade to newer huawei if not for the lack of gms.

Alternative can look honor 50, it come with GMS...honor 50 and nova 9 is just the same phone, different only main camera and GMS

Theres a rumor that the us might ban honor brand too. I'm not going to take the chance. Nova 5t got a super high possibility to get android 11 update before huawei's ban, but got stucked on android 10 after the ban because can't renew gms license for newer android version.
