Not many people use this phone huh. I'm shortlisting this phone to buy, on paper seems okay with 3750mah battery, flagship cpu, not so humongous screen size, cuthole front cam which i prefer than notch or motorized popup but review seem way, way scarse than desire. I'm mainly interested to know about battery life because my current phone got horrible battery life so wanna get a phone with atleast useable 7-8 hours sot. The trump v huawei bullshit are out of my concern.

Bite the bullet and ordered purple set from shopee for 1399, cheapest so far. 2 weeks ago it appeared on shopee shocking sale for 1365 i think, but that time I'm still torned between this, mi 9 lite and oneplus 7. Hopefully a good buy, ticking all my box except the exclusion of headphone jack.

Dang thats even cheaper. But then i still prefer shopee over lazada because the option to choose j&t as courier.

Just received mine few hours ago. So far its okay-ish for the price. The only thing I'm utterly disappointed is theres no support for band 20 even when gsmarena and kimovil stated it did, can't connect to yes4g band 20 at my house thus got no signal at all

Everything else are ok so far for the price i paid. Camera seems sharp enough even without ois, batterylife are awesome, fastcharge are super awesome can even charge while streaming netflix and the percentage raised without any overheat, performance are okay can run games i usually played like identity v and brawl stars without any noticeable framedrops or overheat, plus since i got the purple set the backpanel are super beautiful and unique too with the nova logo all over it. Gonna use extensively for a few days and see how this goes.

Battery life are phenomenal on this phone. Didn't expect to get 8 hours of sot yesterday. And thats with heavy usage; netflix, heavy gaming, youtube, all via mobiledata not wifi. I probably can't even kill this phone battery in a day even if i try. Huawei really knows howto optimize their chipset and rom.

Yes got all google service. The trump v huawei wont effect devicew released before the drama so it'll continue to get google service on future rom update too.

Btw this phone only has L3 widevine so netflix will only goes max upto sd 540p only, no hd content. I'm okay with it since 540p are sharp enough for me.

Emui 10 update for us should be imminent, beta test for it ended today. I can't wait for it, especially for the systemwide dark mode. Stupid huawei only made dark mode on emui 9 available on oled devices and third party dark themes I've tried usually got bugs here and there.

Got an update last night, 718mb for september security patch. Now its 9.1.0.167

Theres no beta emui 10 anymore, finished already on the 4th nov. Now only wait for stable rollout

Might be public beta without any need to register, i checked via hicare and its there. The one from the beta app should be closed beta since its limited to few only and need to register.

So far felt stable and smoother than emui 9.1. Even fixed an issue I've been having with multitask gesture on 9.1. Plus the systemwide dark theme, can't say no to that. Even my Gmail app are dark now.

Guys we've just joined the ranks of proper flagship that's supported by the Energy Ring app. Not sure about battery hit though since I've just installed it few hours ago but its awesome, works wonderfully. As usual for constantly active apps, gotta be whitelisted on App Launch for it to work.

Heads up, sounds and vibrations > default volume control button > either media or ringtone always showed ringtone for me even when i chosed media after 10.1 update. I can choose between media or ringtone there but when clicking the vol button it always ringtone volume that change regardless of the selection, ie the selection doesn't work now after the update. Annoying af bug here.

It doesn't for me, not outside that menu. Like i wrote before, I can still choose between media or ringtone there in the menu and while still in that menu, clicking vol button does work properly based on the choice ie if i chosed media then the media bar there will move, if i chosed ringtone then the ringtone bar there will move. Again, this is while still in that menu screen.

But outside that menu screen like when on homescreen even if i chosed media earlier in that selection screen, clicking vol button always brings up the popup on right of the screen for ringtone vol bar, its doesn't respect my choice to bring up the media vol bar instead.

This started to happen after the 10.1 update.

Expecting to get android 11 with the emui 11 but it's still on android 10. So sad

Still holding on to my 5t because 2 years warranty till 11/2021.

It won't be the same as legit preinstalled from factory. Will have some problems later, especially for games that uses google cloudsync. Its probably fine if you don't do games but I'll avoid it nevertheless.
