Don't think this is a straight forward assassin movie. After all it's Fincher. So expect something really dark and grimy.

Kill Boksoon pretty awesome! I was hesitant to watch it cause thought it gonna be a lame rip-off of Kill Bill. It's more than that and really like the fresher ideas being introduced in the plotline. On top of that the restaurant fight scene quite impressive to watch. Also liked how the mother and daughter story being played out.

WTF Netflix???!!! Wes Anderson dropping 4 short films of Roald Dahl's famous short story. You promote only one.

Henry Sugar has a runtime of 40ish minutes. It's a good bite size without going overboard with Anderson's quirky signature. Being a Roald Dahl story you know the wholesome payoffs. Cumberbatch is the perfect Henry Sugar. Richard Aoyade even make a cameo. It's a lot of fun to watch.

Ballerina - Not to be mistaken with John Wick's spinoff that starred Ana DeArmas next year. This is a Korean revenge thriller that pretty much forgettable. It doesn't know what it wants, at times it rip-off of "You Were Never Here" but without the seriousness of it. On action department "Kill Boksoon" is much more entertaining. Another pointless Netflix movie.

The Killer - Don't think this is for anyone thinking you're watching an action packed movie or Fincher reinventing the genre. Tonally this reminded me of what Steven Sorderberg used to crank out in the 90's and 00's before he did the big Oceans movies. Those brooding crime thriller in the mold of Le Samourai. On a whole I like it a fair bit, this is more of a side project to those usual prestigious Fincher output. So you might felt underwhelming. Stand out is Tilda Swinton and who knows maybe Fassbender will actively back to acting again. And the choice of using The Smiths songs is something unexpected but nevertheless cool.

Please don't sit on this!!! This is a real banger. Like Arcane, it has no right to be a great series and yet it checked on all the boxes. The swordfight is very original and not your standard flashy anime kind. The story also pretty good and more importantly a really badass heroine. Netflix delivered back to back 2 great anime. Pluto and now this.

After waiting for 23 years, Chicken Run 2 is released.

I really love this movie when I was young. Just watched the latest Chicken Run 2, it does met my expectation. I enjoyed the movie. 

Rebel Moon Part 1 - I believe this is strictly a movie meant for Snyder's fanboys. It's unnecessarily convoluted with really frustrating pacing. No effing idea why I need to care for Sir Anthony Hopkins voiced robot. There's a point where they recruit Bae Doona character who went philosophical that revenge is not the reason to fight. Guess what reason the next person who joined the group for? Yupp it's revenge!!! WTF???

As much as I want Sofia Boutella to be a mega star to carry the movie. Sadly Snyder is not the director to bring out the best what she can do. Remember watching her in Gaspar Noe's Climax, she can command the screen with her acting chop.

Think it's not as bad as Sucker Punch or Army of the Dead. Don't hold your breath this is any better than those crappy Star Wars sequel from Disney.

seeing Dune on Netflix reminds me of late 2010's Netflix. whatever sequels in the cinemas they're able to acquire the prequels in the catalogue
