Hello,

I am looking to buy my first car.

I will need a hatchback. Don't need the spaces that sedan can provide. And I think I can drive it for 10yrs+.

I'm quite interested in Toyota Yaris. Like the appearance and it's Toyota.
But it's quite pricey. E spec at around 75K.

Then there is myvi. Cheap but I sit in many myvi before. Feels cheap, audio no good, etc.

Hmmm... Please advise me smile.gif

The yaris is definitely the best balance overall car

My hatchback preference below 100k

Yaris - Jazz - Mazda 2 - Picanto GT - Iriz - Myvi - Axia

If can afford just go for yaris

Yaris I think would be ideal.
Looks good, handles very very well and being a Toyota, it can easily last 10years+++.

You need to let the sifus here know more about your driving profile, preference & budget and any other relevant information to get the most reliable recommendation.

10 years is a long time, do you foresee yourself getting married and having kids? Many things can happen in 10 years and a tiny hatchback like iriz or myvi may not suit you anymore.

Get a Myvi, take a shorter loan so when you'll need to upgrade (kids etc), you have the option.

Yes I am sure I won't need a sedan and the boot.
I am destined to be foreveralone.
I hate kids too.

Ermmm...my monthly commitment for a car needs to be around Rm600.
I have a house loan and living expenses.
It's just a matter of extending the loan to 9yrs.
Is it worth it for a Toyota?
Please advise.

In myvi I can pay the loan 7 years.
If Yaris 9 years.

Monthly payment to a car would be RM600 after paying DP.

Is 9years loan for a car dumb?
