Actually i went thru the hassle of setting the power details -> app launch of each app upon installation, to allow certain apps (whatsapp, grab, foodpanda etc) that i wish to run in background, the rest of them i just turn off when not running (eg. instagram, fb, games, waze etc).

Great but I have one issue. My WhatsApp message sometimes wont comes in when I untouch my phone for a while. Until I open WhatsApp app., the new messages starts to comes in like waterfall.

So when I ask Huawei Customer Service in Huawei app (human agent) they say need to turn on the Auto Manage. But when I turn on Auto Manage also the same sheet happen. I did try with Manual Manage with these 3 ticks on... Same sheet happened... I oso dunno why.... Sigh...

give ur phone some times, cause whatsapp does sign contract with emui for background run ......

I dun think this is a problem. My bro P30 Pro lately also Facing same issue. WhatsApp just dun come in after left the phone aside for sometimes.. Mmg kns..

Anyone using Google Duo after installing GMS with Googlefier? How is the performance?

Just got the Mate 30. Didn't try to sideload GMS. However, I still need to sync my google email, calendar, contact and hopefully google task. For email and calendar, I install the microsoft outlook apps, and the built in sync function do support google mail and google calendar. For the contact sync with google, I use DAVX5, which can be get for free from F-Droid. DAVX5 using calDAV and cardDAV to sync your huawei calendar and huawei contact with google calendar and google contact. However, I am yet to find way to sync google task.

guys, recently my mate 30 which got GMS installed by staff after I bought it from a shop, have problem regarding mobile data & home fibre. Both data I use Celcom. The problem I found out is, when I use celcom home fibre at home to watch youtube, movie in fb, play online game using ps4 or even using hotspot to share home fibre for my pc, my mobile data will be deducted as well! it will deduct about 40mb every 15min I watch youtube. If ps4 online, it will deduct about 100mb for an 1hr.

Then I suspect this problem happened bcos of my GMS no more valid eventhough I still can use google drive, youtube or gmail. In order to proof that this is the reason, I put my sim card into my wife's mobile which got pre-installed GMS and start to watch youtube, fb movies & also play ps4 online using home fibre.

Then I checked my mobile data, it remain the same amount of data before my testing. I don't know whether u guys facing the same problem like me here?

now cannot install playstore anymore is it? tried to do it on my mum's nova 7 and lzplay keep saying device not supported.

luckily my mate 30 still working fine with play store

Anyone have any experience replacing the Mate 30 Pro screen or have any contacts to replace a cracked screen cheaper? Do the costs usually come down as time goes by? If it does i may just live with the crack screen until the repair costs come down

It won't reduce much. You may however wait for huawei promotion on spare parts price. Even with discount the screen is very expensive. Huawei SC will replace the screen, frame and battery together when you replace the screen.

Anyone experienced downgrading firmware using Hisuite Proxy? Attempted yesteeday and the update just fails after the download is completed. Any help or advise is appreciated

This is from huawei or outside repair? Is that even possible? The design and size isnt even the same lol
