i got one recently ap set , the infamous black green combo ... according to the seller , few customers came to him with the broken keypad ...

well , even the seller tells me not to press the middle of the keypad with nails if i use it .. now, thats not a problem for me cause i have extremely short nails . but if you have long nails ( girls(and some guys) do as an example ) you may run into trouble.. well from the stats you posted , it seems week 31 and below would be affected , well mine`s a week 35 phone ..(apprently from indonesia market,judging by the manual ) well will give it a week and see what happens .
mobile-review states that its a chemical reaction which dissolves the base .. which in the end results in the keypad problem .. though i`m guessing whther being so thin as when you use the phone or charge the battery , whther the battery heating up affects the keypad or not ...
