S500i users, I have a doubt on the battery performance. I just bought a BlackGreen S500i for my gf 2 weeks ago and the battery only lasted for 1 day. She needs to charge the phone everyday. Is this normal???

Just normal usage, 5 sms, no songs, talking over phone about 10 mins per day....

better so back the shop and ask for battery replacement lo.. impossible battery life short till like tat.. battery warranty normally is 3-6 months,... can go back and they will check the battery life using a special tool.. confirm battery problem la..

I changed the Screen Brightness to 50% jor...now the phone can last at most 2 days...

Well, ganz, you are lucky to be able to get it replace without mush hussle! I went to the dealer twice to demand for the replacement of my cracked keypad (1st wth 1 crack when it was only less than 2 weeks in use and 2nd with half of the keypad crack in less than 3 months use) and they refused to do it!! Even though it was openly known that the problem was caused by sony and yet they dare to accuse me of PRESSING TOO HARD on the keypad! So, my advice to all is don't buy your handset from this dealer, Cosmos, warranty by Gelant Distributors in LowYat Plaza, 1-58, 1st Floor!

Oh no looks like im one of the victims. Just bought S500 as the seller con me thats 2nd batch no keypad crack problem.
Looks like the phone going to die soon.

seller also told me that new batch no keypad problem.. so did u bought the 2nd batch and have problem with it?

the crack keypad prob will still happend according to the seller..
juz try to handle with care ...

btw...i had to pay rm50 to change for keypad...

will it work? i doubt so, as w580i walkman built w light sense me feature.

can i know wats the fucntion of the "myfriend" part in S500 ?
