Probably, according to tire rack the F1SS tread wear is 240 versus 320 on the PS4. No third party test on the wear yet. Of course the rating can't be compared across. I'll most likely go for MC6 after this PS4.

Have you ever considered Goodyear F1 Asymetric 5?
Seems to be a serious contender to PS4 but price wise might be higher than PS4 nowadays due to limited supply
