Just came back from Aeon Mall, Bukit Tinggi.

At Machines, wanted to buy iPhone 11, 128GB and black colur. Intending to pay by installment. However the sales keeps on insisting of buying insurance about RM400++. That's really annoys me because I don't want insurance. In the end I walk away. Is it necessary to buy insurance ? Anyone here buy insurance ?

From my first gen iPhone till iPhone 6+, I never buy any insurance. The heck, I did not even buy screen protector & phone cover for my earlier iPhones.

Next I went to Harvey Norman, only red iPhone 11 available. They do have installments and insurance is optional. Since not the colour I want, I end up not buying iPhone 11 today

Yeah, 50% donation it's a lot. Should be much less.

I just received my iPhone 11 yesterday, bought online from lazmall. Migration went on smoothly and almost everything is fine. Except the screen is yellowish. Can see the difference when comparing my ip6+ white background with ip11.

Is this adjustable, making it better ?

Will Apple replace such unit ?

BTW I did turn off True Tone. Does not help.

It is not because of night shift. It's turn off.

Anyway, I have just found the solution by using Color Filter. Still a bit reddish to me, need to play around with the settings.

Summary,
Settings.app -> General -> Accessibility -> Color Tint. Adjust Intensity & Hue settings accordingly.

I am using Maxis Hotlink postpaid rm 40 per month (5GB data + 3GB youtube). My area, Maxis works best. Yeah, Maxis was quite stubborn a few years ago. No low postpaid plans at one time. I had to port out to Celcom but signal no good. End up using Maxis Prepaid. Only recently upgrade to Hotlink postpaid.

I may consider changing to eSim soon

Not sure about hotlink prepaid eSim. I also have to check whether hotlink postpaid supports eSim.

I just call up Maxis 123. They said hotlink prepaid and postpaid is supported.

"What plan can I sign up in order to use eSIM?

You can sign up to any current plans of Maxis Postpaid Plan, Hotlink Postpaid and Corporate Plans."

You might want to double check with Maxis for Hotlink Prepaid.

Look for 3.5 mm adapter or any accessories that are MFI certified by Apple.

Machines, they sell iPhone with Maxis plan or with insurance.

Try lazmall (lazada). I bought mine last week and receive by next day. I just check, colours choice are limited though.

Same here. Coming from iPhone 6+, it is much faster and big improvement on camera. My greatest complain on iPhone 6+ is the night shots and night videos. Now iPhone 11 can do night videos and shots so much better .

My first try using WiFi transfer from iPhone 6+ to 11 fails half way. Next try, it was a successful transfer. I did plugin power cables for both phones.

You can always wait for next iPhone, with 5G perhaps ?

iPhone X can last for another few years.

Probably 13.1.3 release for urgent bug fixes as 13.2 may need more time testing. That's what usually software developers do.

I bought the same charger and USB C to lightning cable. Works pretty well, fast charging for my iPhone 11.

Does it prompt ask for 6 digits security code for verify your Apple ID ?

If you have multiple Apple device under the same Apple ID, like iphone, ipad or mac, the other device may generate 6 digits security code. Google Two-Factor authentication iphone.
