QUOTE(myomega @ Oct 10 2021, 01:46 PM) If your phone is deemed to be faulty then you will be eligible for whole unit replacement, however the price may be a little high and you might be better off topping up a bit more to get a new phone. I brought my brother-in-law’s old iPhone 7 to Machines once to change the battery and after running a diagnostic check, the staff there said the touch screen is faulty according to their software (even though it works fine for me) and therefore the iPhone 7 won’t be eligible for a battery change but is eligible for whole unit replacement -which would cost me RM1500 or thereabouts. I said no thanks and went on my way. |

QUOTE(Chubbyteddy @ Sep 6 2021, 04:33 PM) You can get your sim change to esim at Telco. Then follow steps below;- Currently I am having IP 11 bought Dec 2020.Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile) Scroll down the list of options and tap Add Cellular Plan. At the bottom of your screen, tap Enter Details Manually. Enter in the eSIM information (like phone number and other account information) provided by your eSIM carrier. Is it good to change to eSim? What happen to the old SIM card? Throw away? Maxis can do it FOC? |

Anyone encountered issues with cellular?
My 11 pro max has no problem, using maxis physical SIM 4G smooth. But my wife’s 11 maxis eSIM and Umobile physical SIM both cannot connect. It’s either searching or EDGE. Certain location can get 4G but the internet barely moves. Accessing to google.com takes more than a minute. Wife’s the principal line, both of us has tons of data left. Already done reset network/restart phone etc. suspecting it could be antenna problem? But if it’s antenna then wouldn’t even be able to search network, right? |
