Sorry, from the posted pictures, I thought it has offset.  sad.gif

Sorry to deviate a bit.  sweat.gif
Since you are using a Bezza, how to you load your bikes? Do you use a bike carrier?  hmm.gif

Bought a carrier, used, similar to this:

Have yet to use it, because all this while I am cycling close to home. When I am fitter, the haze clear off and the wce highway open to traffic, I will start riding some other place. The famous Dragonback is about 10+ km from my home so I am looking forward to it being my next training ground.

Is the Bezza boot space big enough to put in your MTB (minus the front rim)?

Bolded part.

yup, that's the only 1 i know. the only 1 time i did this place, which was at least 4 years back, i gave up at the 2nd peak.

same goes for sempah, i gave up after 7km from hospital org asli. not even half way to the end stop

shows you how bad my stamina is, eh?

Hehehe... the pic is not me la. Just use to show flllaaaatttt roads which I prefer.  tongue.gif
When I started to cycle, I could only do 8 - 10km (based on my colleague's Cateye meter) at a very slow snails pace (<18km) on flat roads.  sweat.gif
Seriously. Not trolling.  wink.gif
So it's just a matter of time your stamina will increase and you will be able to do longer distance (and also your Bkt Cerakah dragon back!).  flex.gif

did some reading about saddle and crotch numb issue

so apparently i am one of those unlucky ones whose arteries at perineum are more susceptible to being compressed. already done all i could, saddle position adjustments, padded shorts etc but it still happened

changing and finding suitable saddles will involve a significant sum of money and since i am not riding serious enough (i know of some FB frens who averages 500km a week) guess i am not gonna spend my money that much. the cheapest way is still to get the butt off saddle for a short while every 10-20 mins of cycling to allow blood to flow. just stand on the pedal and coast a few seconds lol

Now councils have to allocate millions to build cycling lanes for these people instead of channeling money to poor, single mothers or kids.

Kawan, u first day in Msia?

build cycling lanes itu projekkk. i know, everybody know.

channel money to poor, single mother or kids has no "returns".

QUOTE(jbcoder @ Oct 10 2019, 04:36 PM)
I have a gomax steel 26inch wheel MTB with 1.5inch slicks about 17 kg and cable disc brakes.

My average speed on this bike is 20-25/kmh and if I sprint I get 35-40km/h maxed out gear enough to catch up and overtake some cars in small taman or shop house roads. (flat roads)
I also have an alloy road bike 50/34 compact crank around 10/11 kg. Shimano sora groupset.

My average speed on this is 25/30 km/h and if I sprint on this I get about 40-45 km/h (didn't max out the gears yet) (flat roads). I haven't tried downhill max sprinting yet because I value my life *lol* definitely don't dare to do this on a typical rim brake with thin tyres.
Is my average considered ok ?
*
very fast.

my average is 8-12kmh on leisure ride and 15-16kmh on spirited ride. i do about 8km distance to and fro and occasionaly if time can allow, i'd stretch to 10 or 18km, depending on the time i start my ride. i ride a cheapo hardtail with 1.5in road tyre as well.

No lah. i havent start on DGB yet, still riding along WCE BBR-Kapar stretch. Once this highway opens to traffic only i switch to DGB
