i have unifi 100mbps. my router has a wired connection to pc1 in room1. i would like to have a wired connection to pc2 in room2. the distance is about 20m. i would like to future proof the connection a bit if the cost is reasonable. what type of network cable to i need?
these 2 5e cables have very different prices PRO SIGNAL - Ethernet Cable, UTP, Patch Lead, Cat5e, RJ45 Plug to RJ45 Plug, Black, 20 m costs rm45.89 VIDEK - Ethernet Cable, Patch Lead, Cat5e, RJ45 Plug to RJ45 Plug, White, 20 m rm93.78
also these 2 cat6 ROLINE - Ethernet Cable, Cat6, 20 m, 65.6 ft, RJ45 Plug to RJ45 Plug, Grey rm109.64 ROLINE - Ethernet Cable, Cat6, 20 m, 65.6 ft, RJ45 Plug to RJ45 Plug, Grey rm150.81
and those cat6 cables dont have the word "patch lead". is that needed?

thanks all!! so in summary cat5e will work fine for my needs but cat6, if i can afford it, will be faster for file transfers.
- how to tell if the cable is "genuine"? is there a particular brand or certification to look for?
- what about "solid" vs "stranded" cable? or either will do?
- what about "UTP" and "Patch Lead"? they were mentioned on the webstore i checked. do i need to take notice of those terms?

i bought the cat6 cable. streaming videos seem to be better, but my file transfer speeds are not that fast. how do i troubleshoot to identify which point is the bottleneck/problem?
