Is Edifier M3310 a good buy for a budget buyer like me? Well, I don't really know how to define good bass or etc. Just enough to accommodate my daily dose of music and series. In short, it is for entertainment. It comes with a wireless remote right? Pretty handy when I lie on bed watching my series.

Can someone tell me what brand is consider middle or high end for speaker?

like RM800 for a 2.1 speaker...

just checked out Altec Lansing VS4221 at Harvey Norman... the sound totally sucks... only nice thing about it is that it comes with 2 kinds of input at the back... which is neat for PC and PS3 (RCA) input...

I'm looking for a 2.1 speakers for listening to music. My budget range is between RM300 to RM400. Looking for clarity and great bass; a speaker that don't just "wommmm" but "POMMM!!" during low frequency and don't distort while able to deliver high frequency sound without stressing the speakers. Currently target Edifier S2.1. Does anyone think it is a great choice? 

Does anyone know how heavy is the speakers? (there should be a label at the box that states it) If the speakers is light enough, then maybe I can bring it around like a portable for dancing, entertainment, etc.

I'm hoping bros here can recommend me a 2.1 speaker? This will be almost 100% for metal/rock music and using as an amp for guitaring. I'll be plugging this from lappy.

I have a smallish-medium sized room, with paper thin walls (can hear ppl fart from the living room). And I listen to heavy metal (Metallica, Bullet for my valentine, trivium, inflames type). I'm looking for smooth/controlled bass, preferably not floorshaking type.

I'm currently considering Audioengine A2 (very good weight), Aego M (I have heard they're not suitable for complicated songs like metal?) , Edifier M3300, Edifier C3, Edifier S330D.

Can anyone recommend a pair of good speaker for my pc pls?

use for movies watching and music (pop, classis, new age etc.) not too much into the heavy bass.

budget: no more than RM1000.

anyone here owns (or has used) the 2421 before?
