I think they not gonna drop down to RM5xx, e6600 is 9x multiplier anyway should compare to e6850. Maybe no significance price drop.22nd July New Intel Processors, and price cuts!

The bulk need 10-14 working days after confirming the order. If like that, u only can get ur processor after 22 July, then why dont u buy it at shop? If buy the bulk now, then have to recieved the processor after 22 July. The intel will slash after 22 July. So, it is look like not worth to buy now from bulk. |

i think the bulk price is already according to price after 22july.
e6550 2.33ghz at rm670 doesn't seem tempting enough. e6600 2.4ghz bulk around rm650... moreover, it's proven OCer |

The new E6x50 series will be supposedly introduced on 22nd July at that price. The price cut applies to older cpus like the E6x00 series....The intel will slash after 22 July. So, it is look like not worth to buy now from bulk. The funny thing is that in bulk, the E6550 is selling for rm600 while the E6750 is selling for rm630 |

QUOTE(wongshuyan @ Jul 13 2007, 05:05 PM) Not much use for quad core at the moment...... Q6600 at USD 266 is very tempting but since it will probably be under-utilized, better go for something like the E6850 at the same price!Unless, of course, you're using apps that utilizes multicore e.g. folding.....
