It is probably called com.netflix.mediaclient as the package name. In the most unlikely but very lucky event, you could be installed with com.netflix.ninja. Any other package name is fake netflix. When fake netflix is not working, then it could be due to service clamp down.

You mean you uninstalled the pre-installed one already ? Yeah side load is probably easier because play store is very careful to only allow you to see what it thinks what you are entitled to install.

MX player - you can try with an add on codec library and play with the various HW+, HW or even the SW codecs.
