my vote goes for induction, actually both are nice.

but if speaking of daily use, induction can save electric bill and faster in heating.

cremaric is good when you can't use induction cooker.

Gas is the best, even you boiled your everyday water also much cheaper, problem is not classy especially staying at semiD house
*
actually our minister of energy already come out a statement saying using electric to boil water is much cheaper than gas.

so use electric kettle or induction cooker to boil water if you wanna save a bit.

there's a new type of Pan where they don't use non stick coating anymore but surgically drill the pattern on the pot making it non stick.

It's call honey comb non stick pan.

I bought those. Don't have to worry on coating anymore.
*
aha ... i also bought that one biggrin.gif

i like it, but now they come out a 2nd generation where whole wok is coated with honey comb .... but i already have to 1st generation so cannot buy liao.

the heat is evenly distributed compare to normal non-stick pan.

now i using it daily and sayang it like a cat (ok, i exaggerated on this one biggrin.gif )

My wife has a lot of claypots, Corning glass pots, Tefal Origami frying pans which are not compatiblw with induction cookers.

For this reason, we will probably go for a ceramic cooker. Can re-use all these utensils.

you can use heat diffuser, something like this: https://tinyurl.com/y2ohpy9n

so your non-magnetic cooking utensil can be use on it.

up to your preference

BS la..... electric tariff also naik liao
if you boiled in large quantity gas definitely cheaper, if small amount just to make a cup of Milo use small kettle la
*
if small amount of water you can use microwave oven, that's cheaper.

i think people mistaken electric cooker cost more money because of the old type of electric coil heating technology where you need to wait slowly for it to be heat, while induction is using a different magnetic technology which it heat very fast and uses less electricity.

but up to you lar. you decide for yourself.
