Yes, I have DEX running in the background, but I use my File Explorer to dump files into the Note

Yes, but that feature auto restarts the phone at certain time that you set and does within the hour of the time frame set. Which means the phone has a very little rest state before powering on again.

Schedule power off and Power On, you can schedule a time to totally shut off the phone, and then have it restart at anytime that you want. Here you can have how much ever a phone resting state before having it to power on again automatically.

I have been comparing my 10+ with my Oppo Find X, and I have to say the Oppo is way faster in processing compared to the 10+ even in download speeds.

No no issues at all with the phone. Only this weird experience. Put it flat and you cannot do anything on the screen.
