Yes, tempered glass screen protectors are a tad slower and I also experience the need having to press my thumb harder sometimes to successfully unlock. Face unlock is definitely faster and more convenient, but unfortunately not all apps support it. Wish Samsung could improve and make it main stream so app developers can incorporate the feature for their future flagships.

The only thing you should know about Alcantara material is that it absorbs moisture and odour, hence after a while it will omit some kinda smell. Cool if you have a fetish for it 🤣😂
