Have been ON a year on my tab

I will turn on wifi that you use frequenly, like home wifi when you near your home.
I will not turn on wifi if wifi like mamak, fast food that you use once or twice, even you save in your device
Have been watching screen on wifi setting when near home, it will auto flip to ON itself, when you leave home it will flip OFF
Still no idea how it detect

You try turn off any scanning, location it still will auto on wifii
I never ON wifi scanning

ON OFF that setitng did not notice any battery drain
