A group of people poll money loan to each member for a month, repayment then goes to another member. Cheaper than borrow money from bank for small business.

kutu you will never receive additional money

example 12 person do kutu with each person contribute 100 ringgit

that 12 person will then choose which month to receive money. So person 1 maybe take january and last person take December. Person 1 will receive 100 X 12 person = 1200 ringgit for that month and remaining month, he/she need to pay 100 each month without receiving any more money. That last person who take December, will only receive his money on December. From Januari to december he still need to fork out his 100 ringgit per month

Your version is not attractive. Those who receive later lose out in opportunity cost. No money to gain and risk of losing money (banker cabut).

The version I heard of:
1. The desperate one can borrow from the fund
2. The one whose turn to receive money can opt to lend to those who need money, with interest payable.

why mother kutu like to take first month? as enforcer, she should take last.

if your turn is at month 10 like playing with other 9 contributors at rm100/pax

might as well just bank in every month to your saving account, same also gets rm1k at month 10

Get RM1200 as modal to do bisnez than profit! Maybe profit RM500..then pay back other members to do bisnez...kan untung this kutu game thing

Some people do it because its like a motivation / or force saving. Some people cant even commit to save the money by oneself. Thats why KUTU happen.

Imagine that u need to pay road tax and insurance.
forgot didnt save money earlier. Simpan 100 a month kenot cukup. So join kutu 12 ppl = RM1200.

So just say to the keeper, u need to pay insurance on February. So in February, Instead of having only RM600, u get RM1200. Then after that u need to continue paying.

But, kutu is illegal yo.

When there is risk, there must be some gain before it's accepted. Your version has all the risk but little gain, if any.
My version is not cepat kaya. RM100 pm will not make you cepat kaya. It's the ability to borrow money at short notice. You'll have to pay back with interest (this is the main difference between kutu and cepat kaya) if you still want these people to be your friends and neighbours.

And I'm fully aware it's illegal.

Say 12 persons, each person will pick 1 month that they would like to get the money

Then from Jan onwards u will pay 100 bucks to the collector...u have to pay this until December
When it's August, u will get paid 1200 bucks

I play this since my old colleagues ajak me....nothing much just treat it as a small saving
Because if u dont pay that 100, end of the month u wont see that money also
So u pay them, at least during August u can see 1.2k

The amount of money played is all up to the group to set

we do not have bankers but only chat via whatsapp, but we all are know each other so we trust each other. every month the person who got the money will give his acc. number for us to bank in.

For Chinese kutu, they will profit. But you must make sure that you know all these kutu members, if not later they disappeared habis your investment.

For example the kutu group has 10 participants and monthly kutu contribution is RM100. Start month 1, these 10 participants will meet to bid who gets the kutu fund first. The person who bid the lowest will win the kutu fund for month 1. Say I am in, but I do not intend to bid on month 1, I can refrain from bidding, and let the rest who needs the money to bid. If someone needs money badly, they may bid low say RM85, some bid RM96, etc. so the RM85 bidder will win the bid and all the 9 participants will give him RM85 only.

Month2: The one already bid cannot bid anymore, will only service the kutu for remaining 9 months x RM100 each month. Remaining 9 bidders repeat. So the last person i.e., 10th participants at the end of 10th month collects 9 xRM100

did it before with 3 of my colleagues, every month pass RM 200 to one of them by taking turns, when it's your turn you'll get back RM 600 you give out before.

It's not about profit, more like forcing yourself to save money.

Main problem if one of you stop passing their money so have to be sure they're not those money leeching type.

but not much la, rm100/month only

my turn last april, manyak syok dapat lump sum rm900.

so yeah it got no profit in terms of money. but u can benefit from getting quick cash but din want to borrow etc.

As for me everymonth salary in i straight bank in money to the collector....
